Well as there was a thread a while back for shameless self promotion and I have been a bit busy recently, I thought that as I have now finished uploading what I can currently think to create, I would start this little thread. This one covers all the custom content I have made in the past couple of months (excluding what I have just sent to the custom content challenge). I would have included them in my sig but I've forgotten the bbcodes and I don't think there is enough room anyway (
).
The first thing that I am going to mention are the inventory icons that I made -
TR's Bottles. There's not a lot to say really as they are just that, although I do think that there are a few that would make good containers for genies.
The main bulk fall into what I have called TarotRedhands' Pot-Pouri as they are a diverse collection of flat placeables.
TR's Arcane Circles - 23 new Arcane Circles, which can be used in conjunction with my Runes, to give your wizards lair an extra pizazz.
TR's BloodBank (link to be edited in - I've just uploaded this) - More gore than you can shake a disembodied head at. Extended version of the ones that were sent to the custon content challenge. Now has 89 placeables. Included in this version are bloody footprints, bloody handprints, many wall mounting blood splatters and a couple more writings in blood. Note this is not compatible with the custom content challenge version as it has different 2da numbers.
TR's Celtic Knots - This is a small collection of 17 placeables to add that celtic feel to your mod.
TR's Crop Circles - The truth is out there (at the vault actually (
)). Another small collection this time featuring just 21 placeables. Just right for adding a touch of strangeness to your module.
TR's Puddles and Ice - Have you ever noticed how when there is an enormous thunderstorm, with rain lashing down, the ground always seems to remain dry? What about a cold and frosty morning and there is no ice? With this set of 90 placeables you can correct this. What you get here are 45 shallow puddles and 45 frozen puddles. Not only that but for each puddle there is a corresponding frozen puddle with the same outline shape.
TR's Muddy Puddles - In response to a request on the vault. Here are 55 placeables that have been rendered in such a way that they appear to be muddy puddles. The first 45 are identical in shape to the original puddles from the preceding entry. I have added another 5 puddles and 5 frozen puddles giving 55 in total.THis appears on the same vault page as the preceding entry in this list.
TR's Runes - Magic user's lair lacking something? Try these to spice things up a bit. Can be used with my arcane circles to really liven things up a bit.
TR's Tribal Territory Marks - Does your module feature barbarians who seem a bit lost? Fear not for now they can stake a claim to their own territory. With this collection of 39 placeables you can mark the ground to show just who lives where.
And finally.
Map Mats Ice Sculpture Christmas Card Kit - These are 60 (in the initial part) placeables designed for frivolous idea. I first learned how to make designs that looked like they were made of semi-transparent ice and then how to make various colours of ice. I then had a brainstorm. The result is what you are reading about. Basically this allows for the construction of christmas cards on the floor of an area in nwn. The majority of the placeables look like they have been made out of coloured ice (hey its magic OK?). Oh and I have posted an update hak that adds another 27 placeables including a few that look as though they are melting. They weren't supposed to but it's just the way that nwn handles transparency! Note you need the original hak to get the most out of this secondary one and this second one needs to go above the intial one in the list.
There are 2 ideas behind this submission. the first is so that the keepers of persistant worlds have a means to give seasons greetings to their loyal players in a seperate (magical?) area of their game world. The second is so that anyone who might wish to, can create an nwn christmas card to share with everyone on here. Just create one (there are 3 examples in the demo module), take a screeny and post it in this thread.
