               Very nice. I like the tilt.

Got any coral reefs punching holes in the deck boards? '<img'>

               <looking absolutely shocked...>

I didn't include the bubble of air model in my submission?!
Ack!
Wait!
It wasn't me!
It was the one-armed man!
No...
It was Cestus, the laggard! He forgot to remind me to double check that I did everything right!
Yeah. It's *his* fault. I feel better now. <yeah, i bet, boss>

<sigh>

Well, I uploaded the model to Cestus' project page and sent it to The Spirited Lass. So people can grab it until it gets updated on the Vault.

My deepest apologies!

<...'cuz his hair's standing on end>

               <dripping...>

Damn, Borden! You got the lighting on the holes *perfect*! Did you do the exterior ones dark but with a hint of interior?

And I like the tilt, too :-)

Just remember, it's "Holds" not "Bilges" :-)

Ever the pedant... 'B)'

I thought about doing a beach view version for the views for shoreline wrecks but that would double the models. It's probably better done with placeables...

               <not even *trying*...>

Jolly well right!

External view of the wreck should probably be a placeable... unless it's huge :-)

Either way, the "hole" should be self-illuminated and hint at the interior, don't you think?
Either way, I'm liking it :-)

               The porthole views are just small flat circles with a screeny of LoWs sea tileset as a texture. easily replaced with a similar geometry placeable. Position might be awkward but a while tweaking it should narrow it down to "Dump it and set the X, Y co-ords".
Now I've actually created an interior I suppose could change the black hole in the exterior placeable to show a dark hint at what's inside. *Strokes beard thoughtfully*

PS I don't have a 'british' accent, I'm from LANCASHIRE!!! '<img'>

               *Very VERY carefully pounces on the urchins.*  You spoil me Cestus.  *beaming*

Merge work is about done and I'm messing with the demo.

*sheepish look* I got so busy working on the 2010/2011 merge that I forgot to ask if any of the gurus out there could take a look at JFK's boat creature.  He got super busy and wasn't able to finish it.  He says the oars paddle too fast.  Guess this means I didn't hit my own file deadline.  *laughing*

               I've gotten as far as I can on the hak and demo without some feedback from a few people.  Next chance I'll have to work on this will be Thursday.

               We're up to 8 pages talking about this theme?  Methinks people will be using a lot of this stuff in their modules/PWs.

               Rubies saved the day, adjusting the animations for JFK's boat.  =)

The last unexplored frontier, as Jaques Cousteau used to say :-)

It's amazing to me that there is only one (admittedly gorgeous) underwater tileset (that I know of) and that skinmeshed mermaids and sirens haven't flooded the Vault (I want to see some of the Starbuck's two-tailed sirens! =).

Back when we were planning the Gemworlds confederation, one of the PW worlds (Gemworld of Sapphire, forget the world-name) was set completely underwater. I was really looking forward to what he came up with. His concepts were intriguing and beautiful.

I even have a place for such things in Amethyst... ;-)
But, honestly, it will be years before I get to the fertile, shallow Western Sea and the ominous depths of the Eastern Sea. But I'd still like that *B Siren =)

Now who do we know that's really good with skinmesh and fishy-tails...*eyes Frith consideringly*

<...that he's all wet>
