I'm really interested in seeing those Orcs with more 3e looking heads. I'll try and see if I can get to them. Don't suppose you could take a couple of toolset screenshots could you? '<img'>

At work, unfortunately, but I had apparently lost track of what came from where in my own mergers. It would appear that NWNE and Ancarian's are the same models, heads and all, but somewhere along the lines I came across models that were Ancarian's bodies with Pstemarie's heads (from the orcs he just posted) and those were the ones I used to merge. When I get home I'm going to have to dig around, unless someone has some idea where I might have found these composites.

Edit: Now I remember. The NWNE Patch updates contained the upgraded models. That was driving me nuts.

To end your confusion once and for all...'Image Ancarian originally made some nice reskinned orcs and posted them to the Vault. Cervantes and I added Ancarians orcs to NwnE, then in the very next NwnE patch I took Senemenelas' orc head (from NWN2) and slapped them on Ancarian's bodies.

Finally, while developing content for NwnE - which was never released - I decided to take the orcs back to ground zero and work a whole new model using Baba Yaga's bandit legs, the DLA ogre, and Sen's orc head. I also tacked on a few details and textures from other models by _Six, LoW, and BioWare.  What you see in the screenshot above is the final result.

Watch that Vault listing too - I just found a bunch of bugbears 'Image

These are great. '<img'> '<img'> Thanks so much for putting these up.  Like I said, the Lord of the Rings versions are really good.  But I would rather have good DnD  style Orcs in my DnD world.

I use Baba's LoR Orcs as hobgoblins...

I mentioned watching those movies once that I thought they would make good DnD hobgoblins. I think that is how I will use them too.

Beautiful work, but for some reason when I look at these in the toolset their idle animation looks like they are pivoting from some central axis as opposed to breathing (head and feet move left and right opposite each other causing the entire model to angle back and forth from it's center).

Would this be an issue with the new bugbearA anims? When I just had the first orcs you uploaded (which referenced the original bugbearA resource) the orcs didn't do this. Now, however, after having all the orcs and bugbears in, every one of them does this.

Scratch that last post - after I reloaded the toolset, it started doing what you described 'Image

Anyway its fixed - I just dumped the anims from the model and reloaded them again. Model breathes again when in the default state. I will upload the new Bugbear A model immeadiately.

I also noticed an issue with the alphas - under the ENVMAP column in appearance.2da, the "default" setting should be changed to "****" for all the orcs and bugbears. This change will fix the white outline that appears around the loincloth and fix any other alpha issues people may have noticed.

Completely reworked the bugbears which has fixed all the animation issues people have been suffering when using them. A new hak has been uploaded to the Vault entry.

I could have sworn it wasn't just me; it happens to the best of us. I caught the envmap issue so that was no problem for me. It's back to the vault I go so I can experience these buggers as was intended.

Yeah - I dropped the ball on that. This'll teach me to check the anims in 3ds '<img'>
