changing placeables via text editor
« on: May 29, 2011, 05:09:48 am »

I am using a few of the buildings in CEP in an area and I have noticed that some appear from a long distance  while others can only be viewed as the PC gets closer. I find that this behavior disrupts immersion and was wondering if this is something that I could change on those placeable models. If so can this effect be adjusted via a text editor or would I have to change them in 3dMax or the like?

Thanks for the help

First thing I'd check is if they're marked as static in the toolset. Static placeables are always visible from a much greater range than non-static. There's nothing in the model files themselves that would affect this kind of behavior, to my knowledge.
