Thanks guys. Please be aware that these are planes that makes them slightly trickier to place than if they were boxes. I would have made them as boxes but I couldn't get them to export properly and making them planes meant that practically all the work was in doing various things to process the images into what I wanted them to look like. Also be aware that I have used very large textures here in an effort to get all the texture detail that I wanted (they're 512x512 tga's for 200x200 models). I have used tga's because I found too many were screwed up by making them dds.

As to posting more, I won't be able to do so before the 2nd of may I'm afraid as here in the uk we have a lot of public holidays just now which means that I won't be able to access the inet before then. So what I'll have to do is to create and wait until then to find out if you'd like them a little bit late.

It is getting pretty quiet in here.  Is there no more mischief to be made this month?

If I can finish something on a Saturday afternoon, like the teahouse, I'll still take part in this month's contest, otherwise I don't have enough time.'<img'>

A new tile!  That would be great Zwerkules.  What did you have in mind?

As far as the deadline, I'm not going to look at doing the merge and demo until Monday.  So that gives y'all at least an extra day.  Realistically, this one is going to take me a while to do as I can't sit at my desk for very long at a time.  So that will buy y'all a couple more days if you need it.  Tentatively I'm shooting for a Vault posting date of Monday the 9th, but no promises there.

So there you go, at least another week to wrap up your holy relics.

Here is the line up so far:
OldTimeRadio - Beholder Hagioscope - Files received but not processed
OldTimeRadio - Secret shrine of Rallaster - Files received but not processed
Rubies - Holy Dark Books - No files yet
Six - Ancient Altar - No files yet
Six - Shield - No files yet
Tarot Redhand - Holy Plaques - Files received but not processed - No portraits?
The Amethyst Dragon - Holy Gear Scripting - Files received but not processed

Using Este's amazing Celtic amulet from November's challenge, a texture from WikiCommons, and some Gimp magic, here is an Eye of Ra amulet.

Love the stuff I've seen from you all in my absence.  My favourite is Six's Tyrran shield.  :-)  Sorry to all for not being around more lately (am snowed under with my PhD thesis), but if you don't mind waiting for just a little bit I'll be able to post a load of holy symbol stuff to add to the challenge.  :-)  At the very least, there'll be amulet holy symbols that I was working on a while ago.  I applied the suggestions people made in the feedback thread this month at least (i.e. fade-out towards the tops of the icons, though the change isn't in the image I posted), even if I didn't start the work this month.  But better these than nothing, I reckon.  ;-)  I'm also gonna quickly try my hand at a holdable holy symbol, but if I don't get it done fairly speedily I'll have to leave it.  Just have too much other work to do.

PS: I might as well post the amulet icons now, in case you're in a hurry to get this stuff (which, to be fair, was supposed to be posted today).  But I have blueprints on another computer which I'll be getting back to tomorrow, and which I can send you then.  Still fiddling about with a holdable for now...

I've managed to turn one of my necklaces from a previous challenge into a holdable holy symbol.  I'll see how much variety can be added in the next day or so and then send what I have.
