Some of them require NWNX setup I believe else the new spellbooks don't work.

Nope, 'new spellbook system' doesn't require NWNX.

Witches cast spells spontaneously and those spells are Wisdom based. Does your character have 10+ Wisdom score?

Huh my bad. Could have sworn I was told something similar once. I know some of the spells didn't function right in my testing and thought it was because of something like that.

I tried to manually install this into our module. It contains CEP. When testing, and selecting a new or old pc to use... whenever I click "play" nothing happens. The game doesn't stop responding (crash) it just does absolutely nothing and sits there happily ignoring me.

Manually? Did you used PRC/CEP merge hak? Could you describe what you did exactly? Changed any switches? (ConvoCC enabled?) Deleted database files? Run through NWserver or in SP mode? Have you checked the log files?

All I've added are the hak and tlk files, I am using the merge files for cep v2. Didn't do anything else, and I'm only trying to test it out on my computer, not the server box itself.

There's also an erf file and some event scripts to assign '<img'> (just making sure you didn't miss those). Both are very important.

When you run a module with PRC for the first time a lookup table for new spellbook system is created. (It's done this way in case you wanted to change spells/powers/invocations of nsb classes). It usually takes less than 30 seconds on my PC (which is not very new btw) and it happens when the play button on character selection screen is still grayed out. So I doubt this is causing the issue.

Maybe there are some script conflicts? Could you try to run the module with only prc scripts assigned to module events? (only prc_*, no hif_*s).

You can also remove db files (prc_data.*) for testing - your module will load faster.

Hm... okay, I'll try it after importing that erf. Right now our mod event scripts are custom, we combined ours with the PRC's.

We do this to be sure it's not a script conflict.

Hi Alex, I took a break after getting frustrated, and now I'm back. The prc sample character creator mod does load up just fine after removing the overrides, and when I remove all the module event scripts from our module it loads as well, so I'm guessing you're right about a script conflict.

Oddly, when I set up the server module's event scripts and topmost haks (PRCs) exactly like the prc character test module's, and import the erf that's needed... it still won't load. How would I figure out where the conflict is? I have a scripter to help out if I can point him in the right direction of what to look for.

Does anyone have a working module uploaded to the vault of CEP + PRC? At this point I think it'd be easier to export everything into a module that works. >.<

I don't know if I understand you correctly. The module loads without *any* event scripts, but it doesn't load with PRC scripts? I suspected something might be wrong with OnClientEnter script, but now I'm not sure.

I can setup a PRC/CEP module for you, if you wish.

Yes, our module with prc scripts in but with no mod events set, does load. But setting it up with mod event scripts it hangs on loading to test it. That would be awesome if you set one up '<img'> We use CEP 2.2

If you want to check which script is responsible for your problems you should add module events one by one - ie. add OnAcquireItem event script, save the module and test, than add OnActivateItem script, save & test. I know it's tedious, but it's the only way I can think of right now.

Like I said before, you can delete PRC_DATA.* files from your database folder for testing - your module will load faster.

PRC/CEP module:
http://www.speedysha...772/PRC_CEP.zip
(requires PRC/CEP merge from PRC Vault site)
