Great stuff, we were using a root travel system for druids, the tree will fit that perfectly.

Updated the image in the previous post of mine here. I've included items that might fit well in quests with this statuary (and) garden theme. These now include:
  • Garden Tools (Clean and Dirty): Trowel, Fork, Dibber, Weeding Spud
  • Stone Crafting Tools (Clean and Bloody): Chisels (Toothed, Spike, Wide), Wood and Metal Malletes.
  • Necklaces: "Good Luck Leaf" and "Chipped Stone"
  • Gloves: Basic, and "Gardening Gloves of +10 Floral Arrangements" [Green Thumb] :-)
  • Stone Artifacts with different colored jewels embedded in them.
  • Wicked Flowers: Crystal, Extreme Trippy, Dead, Purple, Basic Trippy
  • Statuettes: Hooded and Dwarven
  • Garden Waterer
That should about do it. This should lead to many of different types of quests around this theme. If the alpha channels are right, these are done and ready to ship to TSL.

Bloody chisels, just what have you been plotting DD?  *grins*

The Amethyst Dragon - looking great!  I'm on my laptop so not sure if it is just me or if the coloring of the small animal hole (way cool idea) looks a bit ... off?  Is it supposed to be grass or dirt?  Also the spots on the lady  bug look a bit blurred?   The skeleton had me laughing.  *grins*

A statue request if anyone is interested.  The faun statue from Pompeii.

I'm going to try and work on some mosaics tomorrow, if anyone has something in particular they would like to have, now is the time to speak up.

Well the mosaics turned out horrible.  So I did a simple reskin of the butterflies.  Just solid color changes with orange, green, blue and purple.

If I can figure out why the hak based placeable sounds are not working then i've found some bird songs and such that would go nicely in a garden.

While not quite what I set out to do, after losing the original files I changed my direction a bit and ended up with these. Should be working on their textures a little more, along with doing their portraits tomorrow so I'll update it then!

I didn't have much time this month, so the teahouse is much smaller than I had planned and I left out some details like the dragons in the corners of the roof. It is now the size of a pavillion and fits a tile completely, so it can be added to different terrain and not just to grass terrain. For testing I added it as a grass terrain tile to the TNO tileset.

I hope you like it, even though it is more of a small pavillion than a real tea house.

               Nice structure.  I like it.

Multicolored butterflies?  Definitely needed.

@Zwerkules - It amazes me how quickly you can build stunning tiles.

@The Amethyst Dragon - I did try to make some multiple toned butterflies. Like the common orange/black, yellow/black and black/white striped but after a few tries of trying to isolate which parts of the texture file were used on which parts of the model, I gave up.  I don't have any 3D tools so texturing is kinda hit and miss.

Well gang, RL has gotten pretty crazy on my end of late.  So unless someone else wants to take over posting stuff to the Vault this month, I'm guessing you will have at least a week extra to work on this month's files if you need it.  Dark Defiance has stepped up and will be covering the forum stuff.  So we will have a new theme on Friday.  Woohoo.  Thanks DD.  =)

No problem Lass. I have way too much time on my hands without NWN currently. The irony. :-)

The Spirited Lass: D'oh!  When I mentioned multicolored butterflies, I really meant butterflies in different colors, like what you show in your screenshot.  I like them.

I think getting too detailed on such motion-prone and small-scale creatures might be overkill anyway (unless you're a person that's really obsessed with butterflies).  Who's going to be constantly pausing the game and zooming way in on something like that?

{ Note: Of course, if it were one of my own creations made from scratch that PCs would likely zoom in on (such as weapon or head-aligned-vfx models)...you'd find in me a pixel-pusher making sure vertexes line up to the 100th of a centimeter.                @The Amethyst Dragon:  *laughs*  you are trying to make my head explode aren't you with that note bit?   This isn't a horror themed month ya know!  '<img'>

If I can figure out what is going wrong with adding custom wav files for placeable sounds, are there any garden related sounds y'all would like?  I know personally I'd like some different song bird  options.  Some ideas from looking over the new content so far:
- low lion roar/grumbles for OTR's statues
- coming up blank for a sound for Borden's chariot - there already are some good horse noises
- rock grinding noises for Rubie's golems - this may be a different sound type so not sure here
- creature noises for Dragon's animal burrow
- themed music for Z's tile - again different sound type so not sure here

... ''

Wow. Just ... wow. I love it so much it leaves me speechless.
(Words of praise can quickly become inflationary in this forum with all the stunning stuff so quickly produced by custom content creators with "not much time" on their hands... '<img'>)

Woohoo! I am now allowed to sit at my desk for *small* chunks of time. YEAH! So here is where the files are at for the Vault post. If I messed up and lost stuff you sent me already, please smack me upside the head and point out the link / email that you sent already. '<img'> I'm going to try for a release on Friday, but no promises.

Current file status:
Borden Ha'elven - Chariot Statue: Need portrait
Dark Defiance - 2d Icons: Done
Mistress - Butterflies and sounds: Done
OldTimeRadio - Chinese guardian lions: Done
Pstemarie - Cemetary tiles: No files
Rubies - Cuddly Rocky Golems: Done
The Amethyst Dragon: Placeables and Lady Bug: Done
Zwerkules - Chinese Tea House tile -  Done

Personal request: Borden, any chance of getting the placeable split into two parts? The building and the statue? I could see both of those being used by themselves quite easily.
