On a hit, it has a chance to "swallow" you into another area, in which you're subject to bludgeoning and acid damage. The tileset needs to be replaced for that area (organic caves was a better choice)
Paralysis + invisibility + recursive damage function? Not a fan of creature abilities teleporting my character, and making me miss seeing the rest of the fight while 'swallowed', but each to their own. I guess it makes sense to shut your eyes for roleplay purposes, but then so does only carrying 5 or 6 items with you
