CEP updater trouble
« on: February 14, 2011, 01:10:24 pm »

               Hi,

I didn't really find an email or proper thread in CEP's other forums, so trying my luck here.

Trying to launch cepuplinux.sh, I get:
erf.linux: relocation error: /lib/libnss_mdns4_minimal.so.2: symbol strlen, version GLIBC_2.0 not defined in file libc.so.6 with link time reference

Googled this for a while, and tried the suggestions here: http://highergroundp...nt&thread=18194

If I change LSD_ASSUME_KERNEL's value, I get:
error while loading shared libraries: libc.so.6: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

If I download the other erf.linux mentioned in the forum thread I linked to above, I get
bash: ./erf.linux: cannot execute binary file

I assume that is because I'm running 32bit Kernel and Ubuntu.

Systems specs are:
Ubuntu 10.10 32bit

Kernel version
Linux dalmura 2.6.38-020638rc4-generic #201102081010 SMP Tue Feb 8 11:26:18 UTC 2011 i686 GNU/Linux

If anyone is able to help, I'd appreciate it a lot. ':wizard:' ..wee that's a cute smiley..
