Fantastic! Love it! Want it! '<img'>

Would you think about making a short tutorial/write up for making a rideable mount like that?

Draygoth, here's what you need to get these PC mountable:

First, modify appearance.2da to include your creatures, so you can place unmounted versions.

Then, in the toolset, create versions of them in the Creatures palette.

Now, Under Advanced, Variables, add these two variables to it.

bX3_IS_MOUNT   int    1

X3_HORSE_TAIL  int    xxxx   (put the number from tailmodels.2da here)

Now you can mount it.

notes:

Why do you have all those models in the .hak file? I recommend making a new hak with ONLY your stuff in it. just your models, textures, and 2da files.

Also, you need an appearance.2da so you can place the unmounted creatures for a PC to mount.

Good luck! It's very cool to ride around on some new creatures. Nice work!

Looking better and better!  Appreciate all those who've pitched in to bring this idea along so far. Waiting for the PC usable version to be done, as I've several stories that could take advantage of that.

Regards

               Nice work Draygoth,

On the subject of these I have a quick question to do with scaling them.

If I use MWNMax to scale a mount up (I'm working on the Raptor mounts) say, by 120%, when you mount them in game the PC model still sits at the original height.

How would you raise the mounted phenotype to sit correctly on the up-scaled model?

Any help wouyld be appreciated. I'm very, very green when it comes to working on models, so please excuse my ignorance.

I am not sure,I have just been taking advantage of the auto scale for my mounts.I thought about making bigger mounts,But i also thought i may have to create a whole new phen type.So i am as green as you and am sorry I don't have an answer for you.
