Oh - thank you.  I'm relieved by your reactions.  I was afraid I'd gone overboard and people would think I'm some violence-crazed maniac.  :-)

Now to make more body parts.  More!

Nice work Este, looks like those two went to quite the wild New Year's party! '<img'>
Well it is Jan 5th, and from the looks of things y'all are going to need more time with this month's files?  Any guess on the timeline?

Nice! Great work, as always, Estelindis.

Rubies is taking a look
at making a two person stretcher from resources I've sent. I think I'll
post what I've done, which is placeable versions of an empty stretcher, a
tipped over stretcher, a clean  sheet covered stretcher, and a bloody
sheet covered stretcher. The work I did adding the stretcher as a vfx
simply isn't ready for prime time, and I hope a better solution for
stretcher carrying can be found.

I hope some folks get use and enjoyment outta the stretchers. Happy New Year, all!

Thanks for the comments.  :-)  (Though, ah, bearing in mind that the NPCs from my module that I associate with those heads have a platonic, pseudo-sibling relationship, the new year's eve party comment caused instant squick for me!)

And fair play to you, JFK, for getting the stretcher in.  We have some entry for last month now, woohoo!  :-D

Have gotten a male bandaged torso done.  Took quite long, as I wanted to make the bandage wrap right around twice without clipping badly against *itself* or the chest.  But I'm happy with the result.  :-)

The female version shall have to be more symmetrical in order to cover the boobage.  Accordingly, I think it won't take quite as long.

*struts proudly*  I made Este go squicky!

Yup, JFK kicked all our collective butts this month, being the only one to hit the file deadline day (myself included).  Extra chocolates for him.  *grins*

Looking at the view from behind of the arms, the elbow looks a little... square? on the right (behind) side.  Torso is looking good.  Perhaps add some blood seeping through and staining the bandages?  Or would that be too limiting for builders, since it would suggest where the wound is.  Hmmm.

Anyways, here is what I have come up with for icons.  I went with ancient surgery type tools, specifically skipping anything saw or hot poker related.  From left to right:  Trepan (making holes in people's heads - OUCH!), Bone Forceps, Forceps, Scissors, and Cupping Vessel.

I see what you mean re. the elbow.  I believe that's what the vanilla bicep is like as well, as I used that as a base to avoid having to sort out clipping issues for myself (just accepting the clipping issues of the original).  But it might be possible to improve it.  Re. blood on the bandages, an alternate torso with bandages + visible wounds (and blood on the bandages) can follow after I've got the geometry sorted for both genders.  :-)  It's certainly a good idea.

Really like your icons!  They look a bit scary, but I gather they're supposed to.  Just twitching a little imagining someone approaching me with one of these and no anaesthetic but a swig of something strong...

Nice work on both the torsos and the icons, you two! As Este said about those icons, they are perfect for lending great atmosphere to a module. Trepanning was often done (the skull hole bashing) to 'release the evil spirits' that were making someone act nutty. Weirdly, it often enough worked because it released pressure on the brain. Ah science! '<img'>

As for the bandages, again wow. What a difference and wealth of possibility from these.

Great work you two!

Please excuse me now, as I have a mouf fuw uv shokwit. MmMmmm.

Este, if that is how the default bicep part looks, I'd say leave it alone?

Thanks for the comments on the icons.  =)  As usual, I'm not totally happy with them.  They always look so much better before getting resized down to the icon dimensions.  *mutters*  Those 5 took me about an hour with the Trepan taking the longest as the image didn't have a solid background to start with.  I'm thinking of re-tinting both forceps so they show up better.  Give them a darker metallic color.  There are several more tools from the same public domain website if anyone wants them.  Just let me know.

http://mytechnologyw...cient-rome.html

For the record, I am not nutty, have never acted nutty (stop laughing Kookoo!) so there is no reason to try out the Trepan on my head!  *Grins at JFK all the while wondering what he is eating.*

My good fellow, I am most certainly not . . . that is, I wouldn't . . . what do you mean, _extra_ chocolate?  Could there ever really be _extra_ chocolate, when you come right down to it? If there was extra, I would share, but you see . . . *wipes his mouth* . . .

I also like how you think.  Om nom nom...  :-D

Here's the first draft of the bandaged female torso.  I feel there should be something around the midriff, but that might be one bandage too many with the ones over the shoulders.  Thoughts?

I agree, I think the 'perfect skin' belly looks a bit out of place on her, making the bandages around the upper torso look more like a strange bra or other fashion accessoire. I'd either replace the chest bandages by midriff bandages (while keeping the shoulder bandage, maybe) or add a few scars to the belly. Otherwise, excellent work as always! Just to be clear: I should make the shoulder bandages do boob-covering duty and put the chest bandage around the midriff?

Anyway, I can add scars to the skin whenever I please; I'm really just checking on the geometry here.  If you think editing the skin texture would be enough to give this a proper look, then let me know.  Otherwise I will try other bandage geometry looks.

Thanks for the feedback!

As to the bandages, I guess I meant they were a bit too geometrical and clean maybe, covering exactly the breasts and nothing else (just as if it was for decency, not injury). If you want to further experiment with them, I'd suggest you try covering only part of the breasts with the shoulder bandage (maybe show a bit of dirty bra or something beneath it).

But it's just an idea. Besides, I'm not a doctor or proficient with war injuries anyway, so I'm not necessarily talking about a realistic look.
'<img'>

And adding scars might do the trick already, if you don't feel like experimenting.
