CRAP Integration

               I was told by a scripter that it's possible to add at least the CRAP traps into a CEP PW without using the full haks, just the scripts and what CEP has given of the CRAP system. Does anyone have a sample mod using this method? It'd be helpful to see how to place the traps, etc.

Also, having trouble getting the CRAP player wand and rope to work without using the full hak... is it possible to do in a CEP mod?

               Is there any reason in particular you don't want to use the CRAP haks?  While optional, they're part of the CEP 2.x hak set now, so anyone whose got the latest CEP has the CRAP haks too - at least that's how I understand it. Haven't used CRAP recently though, so not positive on this.

I dont using CEP2, but Im quite certain that everything what CEP team add is then integrated into CEP haks, so you dont need CRAP haks anymore, if you would added them, nobody could join without them which is what is OP trying to avoid.

They both are reffering to the CRAP Haks that came with CEP2.xx

Specificaly these;





cep2_crp.hak
C.R.A.P. models; required

cep2_crp_s.hak
C.R.A.P. scripts and blueprints; optional

I would ask on the CEP Forums though using the hak utility you might be able to pull the scripts out and see what parts you need for which or better yet open one of the starter modules and look at the scripts that way by clicking it to hak resources and searching for the appropiate scripts.
