(just to keep topic generic and non-copyright-infringement-ish)

Arthur Rackham was a brilliant artist whose illustrations are featured in a slide show which accompanies one of my favorite pieces of music.

Little update to my suggestion

Supermarionation is Go!

In time for the anniversary there is to be a new Thunderbirds TV series to be called "Thunderbirds are Go". This new series is however to be made using CGI and was something that the late Gerry Anderson had been talking about prior to his death. Here is the google images page for it. However, if you are a fan of the puppet series on the other hand you should check out the news that Anderson Entertainment launched a kickstarter to make a pilot episode for a brand new show to be called "Firestorm" and surpassed their target within 4 days of launch.

So I suppose it would be appropriate to extend the period covered by my suggestion up to the present.

I have an idea for a challenge:

India. India is one of the world's largest and oldest civilizations, yet there is very little content in NWN that can reflect this. Content could include tilesets of Indian civilization (pagodas, temples, cities, etc.), clothing, heads, weapons, wild animals native to India, and monsters from Indian mythology and folklore.

Original fairy tales

I thing that this chanllege would greatly benefit some dark fantasy modules or PWs.

Things inside should be Ogre queens, necrophiliac princes, tortuge devices (like white hot iron shoes), monsters, dwarfes, curses, eating abbilities, items like livers and heart (Cooken and uncooked), cannibalism, magic items (mirrors, apples, glass coffins), plants, undead, ravenous animals, diseastes, gruesome deaths, executions (gory, gruesome and twisted), twisted and mad people, gods wraths, witches, demons, devils and dark pacts. Oh i nearly forgotten about rape and self mullitation.

What is different from previous versions is that those fairy tales are really dark horror stories (Each one of them would find a nice place in the ravenloft).

(ps. i did not know to this time devil should take witch as his wife)

World of Darkness

White wolf games pnp both old and new. You can find there both werewolf and vampire, Demons and angels, ghost and spectre. Good dark fantasy setting with many powers, spells and ideas.

I don't like how you place dwarfs in the same category as monsters, curses, torture devices and cannibalism. '<img'>

Maybe I should feel offended now. '<img'>

I don't know if this would count as "Why so serious?", a variation of "Age of Conan" or "Remakes and Reboots", but I would love to play a module based in the world of...

Of course that would require all new placeables and NPCs, but there are many examples of Arogones' animations style...

Humble Building Bricks

Every module builder will someday have to build a wall in the middle of a room,  block a tunnel with a rock pile, make a custom pier, make a frame to add a door to this irregular shape mountainside, invent a special ruin, build fortifications, assemble a credible giant water puddle... And sometimes you need to hide tileset unwanted parts with handy placeables too.

This is the moment you realise you have only one wood log and one post, no planks, no bricks, a few rocks or dirt patches in the standard placeables set. The situation worsens when you discover these are NOT modular, no provisions where taken to stack placeables in the Z vertical dimension and joining placeables moving them in the X, Y axis is poor at best.

What i suggest:

Simple construction placeables parts: Rocks, wood beams, planks, bricks, wall fragments, stone floors, roof tiles, fountain modules, table parts, light effects, column chunks, column tops and bottoms, wheels, modular well/hole kit, etc.

Simple things you really can stack / assemble to build complex objects the size you like, with raccordable seamless textures when needed.

A Darker Shade of Soul was asking in another thread about undead variants of monster races - vampire orcs, frost giant lich, etc. I think this would make a good theme for the CC Challenge.

Vampires and Zombies and Giants ....Oh My!

Let me start for apologizing for putting this in the wrong area to start with. Now, the idea behind this challenge is something I haven't seen in my many NWN adventures which has spanned many pw's and modules. This idea could be a one time shot for the CCC Challenge or someone(s) could take it a step further and create a hak pack full of undead giants for potential builders. Some examples of undead giantkin could be some of the following:

Hill Giant Vampire

Frost Giant Lich

Fire Giant Wraith

Ettin Ghoul

Ogre Morgh

Troll Zombie...etc. The combinations for the undead and giants are extremely plentiful. Enjoy!

The idea could be interesting; However only powerful wizards are able to turn themselves into Liches. Giants use to be portrayed in D&D, as not very clever, it's very rare to find a giant arcane spellcaster, so a giant Lich, seems  quite unlikely....

Unlikely is good. It matches the exceptional nature of PC's  '<img'> . Also, not all giants were supposed to be dim. Storm giants for example are supposed to be quite bright. It would certainly be a challenge. Also it raises an interesting question. What would a phylactery for one of them be like?
