I'm confused because I have found a new animal challenge in the pool for the next month. We already have had an animal challenge "Custom Content Challenge 2012 Jun - Animals". And this "Even More Animals" looks to be exactly the same topic like the last one.

I'm sorry to said this. But I think that reintroduce the same topic again and again isn't fair for people who have proposed a truly new idea. If the topic would be focused in one kind of animals, a least that would be something different....

<herding...>

As long as we consider old themes to be left open for expansion (which I personally do), I agree with Shemsu.

One of the strengths/attractions of the CCC is/has been the wild diversity of themes, and we have enough themes of truly different nature waiting for a chance to warrant either re-purposing the Even More Animals or replacing it.

Just my opinion, of course.

I already voted for Technomancy, which I've *been* voting for... for a long time ;-P

D'oh!  I'd forgotten about that one.  I'll see if I can still change the poll, or just whip up a new one.

I had a similar thought on the "Ravenloft" theme that was suggested, since we just had a "gothic" one.

Adding to my list of possible themes, with some minor edits.

Could be possible to have a challenge based on sexual, nudity and Erotic content........?

Normally I'd say "meh", but we're mostly adults, so I think we can handle having this as an option.  I would just say that if this one get's chosen for a monthly theme, we'd want to self-censor our work in progress screenshots.

Adults Only: Have a challenge based on sexual subjects, nudity, and general erotic content.

{ Suggested by: Shemsu-Heru }

I would like to see "kids". While scaling has helped a little with older kids, there really aren't enough kid models and kid "stuff" in the game. Kids are an important part of a lot of great adventures. They can be innocent bystanders, eager wards and apprentices, and even super creepy villains.

If there is interest, I'd like to propose a "Western" theme, as in the wild, wild west of cowboy fame.

But not just vanilla spaghetti western: a western setting with horror and magic elements. Fire elemental-powered locomotives, undead indians, magic gold panning, +4 gattling guns, haunted saloons, half-orc prostitutes, demonic telegraph switches, arcane aliens, &c.

Inspired by Classic Video Games - Build something from, or inspired by, another video game! Sky's the limit! Make a suit of clothing and cloak that resembles Mario or Luigi. Perhaps model Cloud's Buster Sword from FF7. A Hylian shield from the Legend of Zelda. Create the classic Imp monster from Doom, complete with fireball throwing. No room for Halo here. Dust off your old Earthworm Jim cartridge and make that "Queen Slug-For-A-Butt" model you've always been dreaming about. Script out your own Lost Woods maze from Legend of Zelda, or maybe make a new 3d model for ol' King Hippo from Mike Tyson's Punch Out. Go Greco-Roman werewolf with Altered Beast.

I have an idea for a new theme.

"Open sea and rivers"

contains: placeables and creatures to be found above the sea/river surface, ships, boats, vessels, rafts anything that sails, seafood, some new open water tiles, a sea skyboxes, swimming systems and animations, fishing systems and animations.

More specific examples: crashed ship remains (ship parts, cargo - barrels, chests), floating bodies (dead or alive), whirlwind placeables, kraken and octopus designed in way they fit the walkable water tiles, sea storm skybox, open sea skybox, sea cave tiles, cliff tiles, rock above/under sea surface tiles etc.

Its something I needed and couldnt find when I was working on the ship battle system, Ive done some work on the tiles but havent finished... yet.

Maybe this could sound convenient. But I don't think that Ravenloft and Gothic are the same, even when they are related. Because my Ravenloft suggestion was based only in the classic D&D campaign, while the Gothic challenge was something much more generic...

PS: What happened with my suggestion about an Hyborian Age challenge?

Actually, It was more like a question than a suggestion. However I think that would be an original and funny topic; But I'm not sure if Bioware would allow such kind of content in their forums???

               AFAIK Bioware has always permitted the discussion and submission of adult mods (with modest screenshots). If we find that's changed, there are other sites...

Customized kid parts for the halfling bodyset can be a good way to do this, if you make it to where builders can turn a halfling into a human (or other) child you offer not only additions players can use (as in heads) but features that offer the most options to customize the module, it's a way players and builders benefit.

If there is interest, I'd like to propose a "Western" theme, as in the wild, wild west of cowboy fame.

I like this it would add allot of Victorian features to the modules and GUNS are a definite must if your doing a wild west addition, developers can make its features run entirely off the slingshot, crossbow, shortbow/longbow feats dependant on the size of the gun and simply have their prejectile be a bullet or even just make a new one that fits into the bullet amo slought < best way to do it

The genre is usually referred to as "Weird West", and I would be all for that as well as the kids theme, especially teenage NPCs considering there is a bit of a void between children and adult.

I just used elf's and half-lings to be honest; If children are done I would love to see them 100% customizeable.

We already have a star-gate in the CEP I don't see why we can't do halo armor, I already explained the guns above make them run off already existing features, and a cameo set would be a lovely addition to the armor sets...

I have an idea for a new theme.

contains: placeables and creatures to be found above the sea/river surface, ships, boats, vessels, rafts anything that sails, seafood, some new open water tiles, a sea skyboxes, swimming systems and animations, fishing systems and animations.

Its something I needed and couldnt find when I was working on the ship battle system, Ive done some work on the tiles but havent finished... yet.

This could be a wonderful tileset addition, however I already brought up the issue with Skyboxes/waterboxes (where players can move in all three detentions) before BUT a walk-able waterways is totally doable. overriding the base CORE of NWN is going to be problmematic whoever decided to do this feature needs to be 110% loyal it it, they will need to test the areas with high levels of scrutiny. they will also need to test ALL of the base functions to make sure the overwrite didn't damage the actual games base functions.

that would be one step closer to flying player characters that actually fly but the skybox issue would still apply to oceans as in the game has no seamless transactions in NWN.

About adult content I am going to being up that I want to see it preferred as a separate addition but I will accept as a self censoring via in game filter that has to be turned off to activate nude features! older players are mostly 18+ but what about newer players? I want to see the CEP remain GA friendly and now the CEP2 according to the law (real world laws need mind you) is considered adult content.

The bigger the CEP gets the more I want to see the toolset filter some placeables by area type liek Greek, Asian, Babylonian, cleric, plainer, exc but that's personal preference.

I haven't dropped by here for a while, so;

rjshae, on going from NWN2 to NWN with Blender. Just export the item as an obj and mtl. NWmax/ GMax can import it and you can set it up and export it out as an mdl in a few minutes. A wrote a tutorial for Plush a while back that I can link if you need it.

Shadooow, on open seas and rivers - the rock hak I upped not to long ago has a few corals, in it as well as some "sea" rocks that would work in an underwater map or sticking out of the water. The hak I just released has some bridges in it. I'm wading through a jungle of plants and trees at the moment, but the next hak after that will have some docks, a couple of shipwrecks and quite a few ships and boats.

That ought to be about the last of the placeable sets, and then I'm going to see where things are at with Dragoth and Killmonger on the animals and maybe try to learn how to help - there's a few sea life creatures among them that could be brought in there.

As a complement to the High Priestess' Chambers, I'd like to suggest the Wizard's Tower.

This would expand upon the Spells and Spellcasting CCC set to include wizard tower exteriors, curved interior tiles with ornate windows, arcane furnishings, eclectic apparatus', homonoculi, tome stands, elaborate study desks and ornate cushioned chairs, scroll racks, shelves of arcane materials, scrying pools and crystal balls, small hanging cages for holding imps, teleportation platforms, crude telescopes, animated brooms or other objects, magic mirrors, and just generally weird arcane stuff for cluttering up the Wizard's study.
