               Mirror, mirror on the wall...
A call for mirrors and other interior decor items. Both the mystical magical type of mirror and the mundane...From funhouse mirror mazes to elegant elven couches... this is a very open theme. I would request though that we try to supply items that don't already have alot of coverage already, such as barrels, for example. Instead, a ladies jewelry box or a table with a half completed sewing project.

Happily Ever After...
Fairy tale theme. From our favourites to obscure lore, no limits on this. Could be expanded to include actual fairies and monsters from myth. Jabberwocky anyone?

Size does matter....
Things may appear bigger or smaller than actual size. Some ideas: A tileset that makes the PC look tiny, with giant tables and chairs the pc can scale like a mountain. Or... Miniature tables and chairs (child's tea set size), etc.

Excellent, Jenna. Will be in the March poll :-)

               If you have any edits or additions to my suggestions, feel free to add whatever you want, Rolo.

Elven Stuff is a good submission... I've really had to hunt through the vault for anything to fit my view of elven placeables and interiors. Would like to see some elven clothing too... loosely draped diphoneous fabric, or woodsy leathers for wood elves...

               <speculating in the general...>

Hmmm, Dwarven stuff would be good too. Or Orc stuff, or halfling...

Amethyst Dragon, would you consider diluting your entry a tad to Player Race enhancements? Or some such?

I, of course, wouldn't dream of twisting your arm *eyes those mighty limbs*, but it might draw in creators who want to make things for dwarves or gnomes or whatever and don't care too much for the Fae Folk...

<...and the specific>

I'd say leave the elven theme as is.  For such an integral part of many fantasy worlds, there's remarkably little content out there geared toward them.

Gnomes and halflings had their month last spring. '<img'>

I could see adding a theme for dwarves though.  Like elves, they are a big part of many worlds.  My brain just isn't working well enough right now to come up with a good summary with suggestions of things that would fit (because I like to include a few ideas for a variety of content makers with my theme suggestions)..

I like this theme, but could we change the title? Please? I hate the title. How about any of the following:
  • Fairy Tales
  • Fey Folk, Witches, and Goblins
  • Hansel and Gretel et al
  • Content for the Brother's Grimm
and add on something like:
"While traditional european faerie tales are the focus of this challenge, a wider interpretation is welcome. For example drawing inspiration from modern works such as Alice In Wonderland, or the Wizard of Oz is not only appropriate but encouraged."

               <scribbling madly and reminding himself...>

@ TAD: I hear you :-) And was waffling about the little folk just for that.
But Cestus is *on* me about dwarves and, well, you might imagine how much he wants to make "pretties for them prissy, fickle..."<boss!> Whoa! Sorry. Shameful a cleric knows such language ;-)

Solution: Make *him* come up with a dwarven theme to complete...<boss, already done. it's in the poll. one vote>
... L.I.B.!

Ok, so, TAD... disregard my last =)

@ Henesua: I hear you, too :-) If Jenna has no objection, I'll change the title to Folk Tales & Myths and add your paragraph to the description.

How's that sound?

               Rolo - its not my entry. The choice is Jenna's.

But I would very much like to see some Faerie Tale content in a challenge. Like a model of Blue Beard. Or the Goblin Market. Talking fish. A dozen better fairy models to improve upon the travesty of that pixie model.

               I don't mind changing it... I prefer "Folk Tales, and Myths" out of those

                <starts loading up a...>

Sounds like a plan, then :-)

I'm mildly interested in building up the Monkey King <he's an old pal of his>.

Hey! Maybe Baba Yaga will finally get that chicken-walking house and flying cauldron...!

               As long as this doesn't result in Greek Mythology, Disney, or a combination of the two I'm happy.

               Well disney stories have been based of original myths/fairy tales, but the non-disney versions are much better.
