Creatures standing up after death

I've stumbled upon a weird visual glitch in my module. A creature will sometimes stand up after being killed and remains in this position, even though it's dead.

 

Does anyone know what can be done about it?

               I don't think it's a problem of your module. I've seen this often enough with modules with lootable corpses and the like. It's also quite common that people forget to set a flag and when you click on the dead body it turns to face you.
I don't know a solution for this, but I'm pretty sure it exists.

In my case this happens immediately after the creature's death (if it happens), not when I click on the corpse.

               I suggest that you check if they are still commandable (Set commandable to false) and/or if their actions haven't been cleared.

               Its a common glitch. Sometimes the "stand up dead" appearance can be seen by all in a party and sometimes by only one or a few players. It generally occurs when fighting multiple foes, though it does happen with just one at times. Its usually a sign of lag either serverside or more commonly client side. The appearance data was simply lost and instead of laying prone, the creature appears to remain standing. If you get far enough away (past perception range) and return, you'll see the creature laying prone most times as this data gets resent. Similar data packet losses also result in the occasional invisible spawn/corpse as well.

weird, second time I don't see image but nobody else reported it, first time in the NWNCX webkit and now here...

Can't see image as well, but I have encountered the issue in many modules and know what you are talking about. Sometimes they even were walking in place after death.

               I don't see the image either, but I have seen the behaviour on rare occasions.


It's cleared by save/load in SP, confirming that the data is good, but the render is bad.


Similar, but more common, gltches include sitters who appear to be standing, and white/silver/invisible clothing.
