Shadows of the Sword Coast

Hi All!

 

This is a long shot post, but I am trying to track down anyone that might have information on finding the creators of the Shadows of the Sword Coast module. ( The Vamp Team )

 

They had a website that went down a couple of years back ( Vampteam.net )

 

A few of the members were:

 

Vamp Flashram ( Lead Dev / Owner )

Vamp Nova ( Webmaster / Server Host )

Vamp Regen ( Dev )

 

Anyway, I'm trying to procure a copy of the original Shadows of the Sword Coast module + music / tlk and haks so I can create a permanent and dedicated server.

I used to play on this server and was known by a few names if you remember me? Baristian, Kain Deynor etc. I feel your pain and I'd love for there to be a server up and running of this. I'll be honest I've not found a better RPG game.

I just did a quick google search and found their google circle page, but it looks like you did too. When I went to their website www.vampteam.net, the main page loaded just fine for me, but their forums and portal pages are down. I also don't see them on nwnscry. If they have their main google account tied to their game account, it's likely that they will see your post. Don't ask me how I ended up finding this, but I used to play on SotSC a while a back too. I can try to contact Regen on fb to see if he still has the files or has a way to contact Flash. Would be great to get some new NWN action up!

Hi there.  I'm pretty sure that I destroyed the harddrives containing the files.  It's possible I'm wrong, though.  Alternatively, Mike (Vorp/Nova) and Don (X-Unknown) may have copies.  I remember you guys, so if you'd like to add me on fb, try jjcanderson at ucdavis dot edu.  We're going to try to have the vamp forums up by this weekend.

SotSC was and is still good enough to be it's own standalone game. I know Bioware fell into EA's gaudy pocketbook, so I won't beg for a new RPG.

 

If I can get a copy of all the necessary files ( And I might if Mr. Nova would hit me back on LinkedIN '> ) I will keep it hosted for the rest of time. My server box will be hosted in the southeast, so reach out you fanatics because I LONG FOR COMBAT.

 

My entire online identity is rookfive. All of you feel free to add me to Steam if you would like to stay connected. Skype: istech7, but I'll only accept the Skype invite if you include something.. SotSC in the message. One or two sentences about your favorite death. Don't skimp on the details because I can still remember the name of the dragon being held in the Planar Sphere.

 

Flash, an honor to hear from the man himself. I think I added the correct JAnderson, but time will tell.

 

I look forward to perming with all of you in Firemountain soon.
