I have been playing a PC based on a fictional character, namely Michael Moorcock's Elric of Melnibone.
At Level 20 the character looked like this:
Elf. Chaotic Evil changing to True Neutral changing to Neutral evil.
Sorcerer Level 18, Blackguard 2.
S14, D18, C6, I12, W8, Ch16(21) at L1(20). (Strength is too high, but I needed the cleave feat without taking a monk level).
Feats: Power Attack, Cleave, Combat Casting, Spell Penetration, Greater Spell Penetration, Weapon Focus Longsword, Luck of Heroes.
Another under consideration at level 20.
Robert E Howards Conan the Barbarian.
Half-Orc. Chaotic Neutral to Chaotic Evil to Neutral Evil to Lawful Neutral to Lawful Good.
Barbarian 15. Fighter 2. Rogue 3.
S20 (25), D14, C14. I10. W8. Ch6 at L1(20). NB: Conan's charisma is based on intimidation.
Feats: Power Attack, Cleave, Great Cleave, Ambidexterity, Two Weapon Fighting, Improved Two Weapon Fighting, Exotic Weapon Focus, Improved Initiative, Strong Soul, Luck of Heroes.
Are these okay?
Can you provide other examples of fictional characters at level 20 ability?
Fritz Leiber's Grey Mouser?
Karl Edward Wagnar's Kane?
Graham Greene's Pinkie Brown?
Raymond Chandler's Philip Marlowe?
Just a few suggestions. Please submit your favourites.
