BTW: did you really had to create a thread for this when this question is aimed on me personally? Why not use PM?
I wanted to see if others had that impression as well. For example, in the "Options" thread everyone but you seemed to think my comments were on-topic and pertinent while you claimed they were spam. You'll note pope_leo responded here already.
You are creating a lots of pointless spam in a threads around there to be right for any cost.
Did you have any specific threads in mind besides that custom conversation one that you could point to? Could discuss whether that's pointless spam but at the moment it would seem more relevant to see if there are other threads you were thinking of.
When someone says you are wrong about something, instead of accepting that you response with a "but i meant this actually" or "but you are wrong because youve said..." or completely ignoring that but instantly picking anything slightly incorrect and throwing it into that person's face.
Could you provide some examples of this?
I mean, something like this post seems to be the exact opposite -- I acknowledged my mistake and corrected my previous post. Didn't claim I meant something else or that Whizard was wrong -- nor did I ignore the fact he pointed out a mistake I made.
You like to debate, question people on their opinions, and be right (sometimes at what appears to be at all costs), man. There's nothing wrong with that, but it's the first thing any reasonable person would notice about you. Some people will find it aggressive/combative.
What do you see as the difference between trying to be right and trying to find out the truth/best option?
And do you think a post like this one is out of style for me or would you view that as trying to be right?
