So, having done Neverending Nights, and used some CEP type content - and some other content, that I tried (like Snafe, some worked, some didn't) - there was no way I could probably accurately say whose content was or wasn't in my own series.
The thing is when you're mixing and mashing what content does and doesn't work (some doesn't play well with others) - it begins to RAPIDLY become difficult to tell whose NWN Content made it into the game and which ones didn't. And sure, he's not giving credit (just like I didn't in my series) to those who may have made whatever pieces made it into the game - but he IS showing it off (which is what he said he'd do). I think Snafe's main thing - other than telling a fun story - is to show off that NWN, despite its age, still has some amazing content (and typically) an amazing and supportive community as well that continues to develop for this 10+ year old (I believe, now?) game.
He could easily use a more "beautiful" game like NWN2, or Halo 3, or Borderlands 2, or whatever crazy new game is out right now. And if he did, he would probably get more hits and more search results out of it - because, let's be honest, not most people care to look up anything that has to do with an older game like Neverwinter Nights.
But no - instead he looked at all the community content - said, "This game, despite it's age, still kicks rocks! I want to tell my story using this game - and the content this amazing community continues to make - and show it all off - that this game, despite its age - still stands well against newer games!"
And as an FYI, for those who seek to slam and judge - if you go to his website, right on the side:
