               Well, after suffering the most heinous deed imagineable - the theft of my computer, along with numerous other electronic equipment - I have decided to hang it up. Essentially nothing is left of the work I have done / planned to do except for what was uploaded to Q and the Vault. While the insurance money replaced most of the stuff it cannot replace the countless hours spent making custom content.

To whomever broke into my house - if you are reading this - I have added a rather nasty Rottweiler to my family. So, please come again. His name is Casper and once he gets a hold of you he doesn't let go until whatever he bit is a bloody pulp. Then again, blood just makes him madder.

               Well, your expertise would always be an asset here, CC projects or not, so the loss of yet another of the staunch vets is bad news.

One tip about Casper, though... be sure to feed him occasionally or he will sharpen his incisors on your furniture legs or on other members of the family who may taste better than wood to him.  In other words, never turn your back on a Rottweiler.

On a more serious note, having lost my own work a few times (but nothing to this scale) I can just about guess at how awful you must feel. Not to mention knowing your place of living has been invaded as well, there's something unsettling about that experience... Good luck wherever you may roam, and thanks for all the hard work you've put in. Neither NWN Enhanced nor Q1.4 would've existed without you.

This should be a note to all of us to try and store the most important of our files and work as much as possible on internet space or burn DVD's and give to family and friends for safekeeping.

Hope you get over the initial pain of this. There is a life after it...NWN or no NWN...

Hope they catch the ******....don't want to get up your hopes...but there is actually a miniscule chance of you getting it back...lets all hope...

               It is such a shame about not only the loss of your computer and hours of long work. But a shame as well you decided to hang it up. I can completely understand as I lost the PW I am building twice. Easily a couple of years worth of work gone. I almost gave up both times but I think my insanity wont let me give up. It is truly a sad day for us all and the community shall all feel a loss from all the wonderful things you were going to make no longer happening. Take care and I wish you happiness in whatever game or new hobby you discover.

               Omg this is one my great anxieties, all that work gone. That why I have my stuff so scattered on different computers, flash drives, internet sites etc.. Make it a pain when you have to remember where you put something you made a long time ago and people want it. I hope you can get over someone breaking into you place I think that be worse. I hope you come back eventually, the more people the better. I hope they catch the guy or at least get your stuff back. Make sure you check on you personal information / credit stuff in case they mess with that or got some of it.
