Lost my CD key and my forum account is gonne.

               I dont know what happened here...
But my previous forum account dont exist anymore and my Neverwinter Nighs Platinum CD-Key was registred here.
So today i was looking for it and it said my password/login was invalid.
I used the Recover password and i changed the password.
When i logged my account was clean! It asked me to choose a username again, name, surname, whatever everyting again, as my account were never been used! .


Now i lost my CD-Keys... that i thought would be safe registred here, in the forums.

This discussion has been held here mutliple times.  See This Thread and also find some info in this thread as well.

As to the OLD forums, they are gone, your old cd keys are no longer registered there, or anywhere else.  THIS forum does not allow you to register for NWN 1 at all, so there is no longer any online site that stores your cd keys.

You can attempt to get satisfaction from Atari, but I would not hold my breath as they seldom even respond anymore.  Bioware no longer has the records as they are now controlled by Electronic Arts, and no longer exist as a separate company.  EA never made any moneys from NWN 1, AND have no contracts with Atari or Hasbro or WotC for the license required to really help you with CD key issues.

You can purchase a NEW copy for $10 us, from Good Old Games and get new keys etc... so, if you don't have your old manuals, that is really your only option at this stage.

               Also (and this is covered in the links BB posted above), if you have a working installation (e.g. you have an earlier install from your disks sitting on an older computer or something), then you can get your CD keys from that computer. Look in your NWN folder for a file called nwncdkey.ini and open it (it is a plain text file).

Other than that, you will probably be looking at GOG's NWN. It's $10 to you, but it's easy, it's got the game with all of the expansions (and some premium modules), and it's fully patched.

BTW, I usually write my CD keys on the disks with a permanent marker and also email them to myself to reduce the chance of have a disk I am unable to use for installation.

               You know what, it looks to me like there are a lot more people helping in the last few months.
Now that Hip obviously began hibernating. 
Like if time was going backwards around NWN. 
What a game!

Hmmm... seems like the OP really has no problem.  All he lost is an old account name but got a new one and can play again.  But I may not be fully revived yet so may be missing an element of the whole issue.

Now, if the OP figures the servers he used to play were going to save his old characters and inventories which were logged under that old account... well... they are usually deleted anyway after an idle period over a few months, no?  At least that's how the servers handle it that I've played but I don't play any of those primo pay-as-you-play ones, either.

               You can try contacting Atari about your lost CD Keys. I had lost mine a while back and when I contacted Atari they just straight up gave me CD Keys for NWN Diamond, no questions asked.
