Cheat Codes in Kingmaker?

                Does Kingmaker have problems with using cheat codes in single player? God Mode isn't working at all. The other expansion packs and the original campaign were fine but this just seems like a no-go. I type it in and it says "sucess" but I still take damage and trigger traps, unlike the previous campaigns.

Like for every module, it's good as long as you're not overpowered.

               Because I have a massive, MASSIVE, MASSIVE backlog of games to work through. Besides, I like cheating in single player because I suck at games that use D&D rulesets. god help me when i start NWN2.

You can't cheat in SP, meaning it's logically impossible to cheat in SP. But you definitely can use consolle commands, cheat codes and in the case of NWN a lot of other stuff at your leisure to get the gaming experience you like the most.

               You remember to activate "DebugMode 1" before entering "dm_god", don't you? And of course, "DebugMode 0" afterwards.

I would propose the following:

##DebugMode=1
##dm_godmode
##DebugMode=0

type those lines in the chat bar, each one seperately and hit enter each time.

               godmode doesn't work in Kingmaker.

If the only way you can enjoy the module is by removing all the combat challenge from the experience, use the console to level up to as high as you would like. any level over 20 or so should be godly enough to walk through the entire "adventure".  Gaining XP will mean nothing since advancement no longer means anything, just like in godmode.

You tell me, Kail.  '> Try it out yourself.  Must have been scripted to cancel it somehow.  Without access to the module in the toolkit I couldn't even venture a guess. '>  (Maybe it's in the Kingmaker hakpak somewhere?? Dunno.)

edit:  And BTW, OP... when the console diagnostic reports "Success" it doesn't mean the command did what you wanted it to.  It just means the console compiler was able to locate the command in its library and confirms that it was typed properly.
