Terrifying Rage - wiki error?
« on: April 06, 2011, 02:16:23 pm »

So, I was looking up Terrifying Rage on NWNwiki to see what the DC calculation was, and I noticed this little comment in there - "The saving throw is versus fear, but the effect that gets applied is paralysis (so this feat causes no one to "flee")."

Now, as much as I wish this were true, I don't believe it is.  I love playing Terrifying Rage barbarians, and I'm pretty sure the masses that are fully affected by it tend to run in the opposite direction of the raging barbarian while the fear from the rage is in effect.

Can someone who regularly updates the wiki page (TK?) verify that this paralysis comment is an error and make the wiki fix?

Dude, TR is modified on WoG.

From here:

For Barbarians

Terrifying Rage - panic effect
lasts 4d4 rounds, not 1d3.  Gives +d20 to intimidate, not d10.  Uses
turned effect so creatures run away instead of standing there.  Fear
immunity prevents effect, not mindspell or paralyzation immunity.

Don't knock Kail's ad, avado! Doesn't it make you want to rush over to play on WoG? It does for me. '<img'>

OP: The wiki contains information about vanilla NWN scripting, unless otherwise noted. The Terrifying Rage wiki article is correct in that respect.

LOL  Back in the day, WoG had Kail and a ton of other ECBers.  I tried to play the server, i really did.  Unfortunately, it was during my burnout period, and well, waiting a week to get to lv 7 just didnt cut it for me!  LOL  Not saying anything about the server!  It was a long time ago.  Once you have tasted the power of a PRC cleric, everything else is... well... vanilla.
