Blast! I had cookie-itis and couldn't reply until I found out what this browser had screwed up handling the BSN account. Anyhoo...
@Melkior_King: That is sweet! I suspected there was a method to control this a bit but couldn't find it. Thank you, thank you, thank you! No more bromo seltzer needed

@Lightfoot: This is strictly from a player's aspect. There seems to be a proximity algorithm built in that auto-targets the last attacker... one that is very difficult to supercede by clicking. I am guessing one needs to target before the next calculation occurs. But I may be completely wrong about that guess.
@ShaDoOoW: Yeah. That's probably what I am trying to do with the manic clicking. Except I really suck at timing hits so need a synapse reflex transplant in order to improve my innate abilities.

@avado: In SP, I can just pause to slow down the targeting and attack sequence action. On-line, well... a magic user that is preparing to cast a spell can get off scott-free if his summon (or some puny minion) is actively attacking my PC. Looks like AoO's are just the price to pay to break out of an undesirable attack sequence.
Hey, one out of two ain't bad.! At least one issue is adequately resolved for which I am eternally grateful.
It's great to have knowledgeable brothers-in-arms to help right the ship. *waves*
@jml: Re-examine that posthumous award of honor. It is NOT made of bronze. It is made of pressed sawdust, coated with bronze-colored paint and extremely flammable.
