NWN and the toolset running at insane speed
« on: November 25, 2010, 02:06:00 am »

I just got a nice dual core system and put NWN in, updated it, and now it and the toolset are running at such an insane speed that I can't do anything with them.  It's like running an old dos game on a modern CPU. Anyone have a fix for this ?

Okay.  NWN seems to be running OK.  But the toolset is still running at SUPER HIGH SPEED making it impossible to work with.  Any ideas how to fix this ?

Use a single core to run the game and toolset.

Client CPU Affinity = 0 in your nwnplayer.ini.

If this does not fix your issue, take it to the Technical Support forum.

There one in nwtoolset.ini you have to change too

CPU Affinity=1

Give that a try too
