               Yes Zandoro I remember you, and Eat2Surf: 'There is more gravy than grave to you.' As long as we're throwing around Dickens references, and it was a bit of bad beef.

The full quote from A Christmas Carol the speaker is Ebeneezer Scrooge and the target of the speech Jacob Marley: ""You may be an undigested bit of beef, a blot of mustard, a crumb of cheese, a fragment of underdone potato. There's more of gravy than of grave about you, whatever you are!"

               I am new here! I mean I always registered at bioware to store my keys and stuff but these boards seem so technical I never participated.

Then I decided to post here for the server I am at. So yes I'm new to your community here '<img'>

               I think it is where nice to have "represantitves" from the some of the PW's here. It is a shame many PW's totally ignore theese boards...and the ones that are interested are usually only a few people from every PW.
It is like people forgot where it all came from...

               Well I'm no one official at my server or what not. I just play and like the place. It's been through a rough time recently and things are slow. I'm  here for myself at these boards and for Myth Drannor even though I made some posts to help the place.

But yes! This is where it all came from! '<img'>

               I've always been a lurker on the ol' BioBoards, with a few posts here and there. When I moved here (and still got my original name) I broke out of lurker mode. :-)

               My hope is that more people show up here over time.  I never posted much on the old boards, but I read alot and learned alot.  I don't get on my computer as much when weather is nice, and just found out the old boards were gone.

My understanding is the old bioware forums will not be accessible even for read only over time, if that is correct, then our best bet is to make these forums work the best we can.  The forums are just to good of a resource to give up on.

               Someone must have a De-Lurking device running.  Or magic, it could be that too.

               Well since people are delurking themselves:

//delurker by ffbj

#include "x2_inc_switches"

void main()

  {

    int nEvent =GetUserDefinedItemEventNumber();

     if (!nEvent == X2_ITEM_EVENT_ACTIVATE)

    return;

       object  oPC =  GetItemActivator();

       string sPC = GetName(oPC);

       string sMessage = (" The persistent lurker called: " +  sPC + " Has temporarily de-lurked themselves. ");

       object oTarget;

       oTarget = GetFirstPC();

        while (GetIsObjectValid(oTarget))

        {

       FloatingTextStringOnCreature(sMessage, oTarget, FALSE);

       oTarget = GetNextPC();

        }

  }

               Thanks ffbj. Let me see if I can modify this script to make it work with Romulan cloaking device.

Anyway, it's true this new forum is kind of empty it feels like nwn nursing home or something. The truth is in 100 years none of us will be here to post anyway.
