A long story short: I bought NWN1 Deluxe boxset second hand and a few of the premium modules were on a burned CD in the box. I played through the original and two official expansion and I thought what the heck and installed the premium modules as well. Low and behold there is this authentication stuff and I can't get it to play properly. One because the modules aren't linked to my CD key and two because I'm behind a Uni-firewall and the connection won't go through (the proxy blocks all com ports except for 80...gargh). Any suggestions on how to get the modules to play without the need for authentication?

Thanks for this! I bought all the modules a long time ago, ended up losing my disc. Got the GOG version and then realized, you can't get these easily anymore, until I did a little snooping.

What happens if someone who never bought these premium modules tries to install them?

It won't work, as when puchased the NWN login data was registered.  It's no longer possible to register, I think.

I really like Infinite Dungeons.  I was miffed when it went a bit screwy after the otherwise excellent 1.69 game update.

That sucks ass.  As greedy as Atari is sometimes, you would think they would want to make money on something like these and therefore make them available for purchase.  The fact that there is official content out there that I am unable to play is just bothersome to me.

I came across these while helping a friend get setup under Linux.  These link to each of the Premium module installers.  These are only useful to folks who purchased the Premium modules while the BioWare store was still selling them.  They're useless to anyone else.

These premium modules are unsupported in any and every way by BioWare/EA.  If you require assistance on them your best bet is to peruse the Premium Modules section on the old BioWare site.

ShadowGuard plus Witch's Wake
Pirates of the Sword Coast
Infinite Dungeons
Wyvern Crown of Cormyr

Just had the itch to reinstall NWN today and man you are a lifesaver, I didn't think these existed anywhere on the net anymore lol Now, I just have to find my cd keys. Somehow

Oh man you have no idea how happy this makes me.  Been fuming for a full week with Bioware getting me nowhere fast.  Thanks so much, works perfectly and I just finished a good session of Infinite Dungeons!

You are a NWN savior!

Yes, thank you thank you thank you!!!
I purchased all these too long ago, all except for Pirates I believe.  I wasn't too hip on the shark thing when it came out LOL.  I had asked on this EA forum about the Bioware Store being supported and what happens to the games we had CD Keys for and purchased, and numerous times I was corrected and told, oh silly me, don't I know anything, the Bioware store, for years has only carried clothes and stuff, no software.  I felt like pulling my hair out, it was exasperating to say the least.  Well, now I'm happy that one situation is behind me, yaaaaay!

Thank you for those links!  I purchased all these a while back and didn't have them archived!

Started to download these, and I understand we will need of course our CD Keys for these Premium Modules when we purchaed them, that's ok, I had listed these down actually; but...

since they are Premium Modules, the Start Menu Folder needs to be located on the same menu as the regular NWN1 Chapters, and I don't remember that path for download.  Anyone remember please and thank you?

Actually, the start menu option is not even an issue.  Once you install these, (they are all self installers) even if they don't put the start menu where you want them, it doesn't matter.

Start nwn, open new game, and choose them from the list.

I've previously purchased Wyvern Crown of Cormyr before I decided to play NWN2.
Downloaded the link posted above. All the other modules worked fine (downloaded only three btw,  I have NWN Diamond). They still have that connect DRM thingy and I was still able to play them.  It seems to remember my key.  But the thing with the WCoC, the link posted above is a beta version of the module. O.o

Alot of bugs when it comes to mounts and horses. Plus it still has that journal entry of being a beta release. I don't remember seeing that journal entry years back when I played WCoC, though I might be wrong (geez, almost a decade... I think? o.O )

Anyway, I guess Atari doesn't give that much support to the modules above due to the age of the game. Just posting to inform you guys that its the beta release (or maybe it isn't. LoL. I really don't remember that journal entry ingame)

Me lady this somehow seems odd as them masterservers be down still thus no auth takes place and I can't find the entry about WotC beeing a beta version just started a game to check '<img'>

I used the .exe version to test though I agree support has been bad on us legacy players lately '<img'>

Really? The server is down? Howcome it says "Please wait while we connect" blahblahblah
I was able to finish PotSC and ID though, didn't bothered with WCoC due to that journal entry.
Didn't have issue with the connect thingy, I just waited for a moment and played the module.

So that means anyone can download and play them now? O.o

Too many questions. LoL. I feel like Deekin right now. "Deekin wonders..."
*Edit: forgot the quote thingy
