« on: August 30, 2010, 08:21:18 pm »

is there any builds with 16 levels of barbarian that has mighty rage in it?  I can't seem to get mighty rage with only 16 levels of Barbarian.  I must be missing something.  I have all the prereqs.  21 con 21 str greater rage 21 levels.  What else is there??

Thank you.

No NWN Wiki is right it needs just to be epic character, so at least lvl 21

What class you leveling up? only barbar can take this feat. So either get 17 levels of barbarian, or get 15 preepic and take the 16. at level 21 or any other level where you get general epic feat.

I tried it but it will not give me mighty rage as an option.  I can get terrifying rage but not mighty rage.  I am probably missing something simple.  Any suggestions?

Ummmm...

Are you still running the PRC?  If so, all bets are off.  The PRC has its own customizations.  Whether Mighty Rage is a feat that was modified you will need to ask the PRC-savvy.  They use LOTS of custom scripts.

If you uninstalled the PRC, it should work exactly as advertised (above).^^

According to manual the requirements in PRC are even easier, but as I know PRC its maybe bugged.

I hate to ask this but what is PRC?  I checked the NWN wiki again and realized that one can't get mighty rage with only 16 levels of barbarian because greater rage 6 times is needed for that.  I assume there is no other way to get greater rage outside of the barbarian class

Well... you had mentioned in an earlier post here that you were playing a Blue Dragon subrace or some such variant only available through the PRC so I have assumed you are still playing that way.  My bad if this is not the case..

The problem with Barb16 is you don't have Greater rage x6 until Barb20.

I just tested a half-orc Str20-Dex9-Con17-Int6-Wis8-Cha6 to be sure I could get the Str21-Con21 prereqs by level 21.  I used a fighter multiclass.  At Barb17/Ftr4, Mighty Rage was NOT available.  At Barb20/Ftr4 it WAS.  So I think you will need at least 20 barb levels which mean (if my brain is still working), that you can only take 1 level of some class OTHER than barb pre-epic in order to qualify for Mighty Rage at 21.  ShaDoOoW can confirm or dispute this.

So I guess the overall answer would be:  There are NO builds that grant Mighty Rage with 16 levels of barbarian.

Hope this helps, Kid!

right, my bad it needs greater rage 6x per day, think this should be added into nwn wiki to avoid more confusion

EDIT: indeed! its there... yeah I didnt notice it because that The Krit's miserable policy that the description will match manual and everything whats different will be noted below the description...

That's nothing to do with the PRC. From memory (been a while since I played there) ToS has its own custom subrace system.

               PRC = Players Resource COnsortium

Its a download that morphs nwn to nwn on steroids!  A player motivated "fix" to the original game.

You know something is so right when you can make a dragon that has Dev crit!  I tormented some folks on my old server with a Dev critting Badger!! (uses same feats).  FUN FUN FUN!

Mercy for the acronym-challenged, qaerinju.  What's ToS... a customized server?  (all apologies to straying off-topic)

Edit-
