               Added:

*47) Nisar pure Barbarian fix for Pirates of the Sword Coast
Which allows the player to switch the henchman Nisar as a 100% barbarian, and not as the original barbarian/sorcerer combo.
Useful for a spellcaster PC...
Install that 'fix' before starting a new game, and follow Vulcano's instructions detailed on his related vault page.
Trying it myself right now, for my 1st time.

(That same Vulcano creator of the Tip *42 in my list: Mischa Waymeet, by Vulcano, to enlist her as a paladin for SoU)

[EDIT] I tried it and it works very nicely.
Be aware this mod works only for the second part of the module, once you rejoign with Nisar in Spindrift, now on a much higher level which makes him split classes into a Barbarian/Sorcerer combo... quite useless.
This fix won't work on nisar if you start the module with a higher level than 5! (The "Read me" says between 5 and 10) as it will allow Nisar to multiclass sooner than Volcano expexted it with his level 5 PC...  I suppose.
So, no fix for the first part of the module.
/EDITED/

Hi, I'm pretty new to NwN and was wondering if there was any addon that would let me use the 1 through the =  keys instead of the function buttons?

Damn you WoW....

I can use my keyboard to remap some keys, but would prefer to use the 1 to =  instead.':wizard:'

jmlzemaggo, could you create a single archive with all files correctly placed for most of these mods?, Its a great list but the sheer amount of install instructions & different files is giving me a headache, and my friends dont want to go though all the installs either for our playthrough of the main campain and expansions '<img'>

I know nothing of this, but some "need to be fast" mutliplayers might answer your call.
Not in that thread though. I'm nothing but a collector, not an NWN scientist. Sorry...

I'm afraid that's not possible on my side. My links go to the author of the mod's page for a few reasons:
- Every single mod requires the author's explanations, choices and a bit of thinking on every player's side. The author is the only one knowing what he is talking about, not I.
- Lack of time. That list only took already many hours along my NWN player's years to be written.

Otherwise, that could be a neat idea, and anyone is welcome to try it.
Sorry...
Maybe you'd better ask around the multiplay servers and players how they manage that kind of situations.

Crap, tried installing them earlier and ended up with white icons and invisible capes. and crashes when browsing some vendors.

Sems we will have to go completley vanilla then.

From your long list of issues it sounds like your graphics card doesn't support NWN's dds textures format. Not much to do about that if so, unfortunately. Very few custom content projects use the larger tga texture format. Its maybe worth mentioning that that also means nearly all the standard NWN textures will be appearing at a tiny fraction of their intended resolution.

Though if your card isn't >8 years old, it's possible you're having driver issues... Or you've got a dodgy download of Q somehow.

Well its a 6950 so doubt the card is the issue. and i tried installing both using the q updater and by downloading the 7zipped hak files and tlk file and installing manually. Module starts but has white/missing textures '<img'>

Edit: new portraits and character faces do show up at character creation so it seems to be partially working.

Issues with specific projects, whether its Project Q, CEP, or whatever - should be posted on said project's support forums so that they can be properly addressed.

For Project Q Issues - http://www.qnwn.net/....php?board=24.0

For CEP Issues - http://cep.veiled-in...5a407a55192b5fd

But, as long as I'm here...

The problem you are experiencing with the OC is more related to the fact that Q content will NOT appear in the OC unless you have added Q to the OC modules. As for the Q base modules - assuming you have added no other hak content to them - I would agree with _Six that what you are experiencing is localized. Meaning that, since no one else has reported the same issue - or a variant thereof - that the issue is most likely on your end: drivers or hardware configuration.

We did have a few white textures reported in the first few days after release - issues which we were able to confirm and resolve in short order. Furthermore, looking at my son's and wife's Q 1.4 installs, I cannot simulate the issues you note. Everything appears as it should.

My advice - check that you have the most current drivers for your GPU, check the "date modified" field on your Q haks in explorer, then run the updater again. Any Q hak that gets modified by the updater should have today's date.

Almost forgot - make sure that there are no errant files in your override folder.

Im waiting for my forum account to be validated on the qnwn forums.
My nwn install is a clean gog install with only the project q and q oc modules.

Just tried installing on a backup pc with a 5850 and slightly older drivers (i have the latest) and its still showing the samme missing textures. Both are running w7 x64 though.

Im going to have to poke around further to get my head around this.
Will be doing a clean install later today on a fresh XP install, hopefully that works.

Is the game installed in the Programs(x86) folder? If so you need to move it to the root drive C:/ - final path to game files should be C:/NeverwinterNights/NWN.

Also, run the 1.69 Critical Rebuild. Even though the game is supposed to be patched to 1.69, some of the GOG versions have bad patch files that are missing components (textures being one of them).
