There is an option for bigger font in the menu, aside from that you are out of luck i'm afraid. GUI works ok up until 1080, and only recently have bigger resolutions become more widespread. There simply has not been much mod effort on that end yet.

I could do that myself but I'm not sure if there's any documentation about gui structure.

What you are seeing in game is a result of your graphics card/ video settings.

Because NWN was made before the widescreen resolution that happened a few years ago, NWN does not like to be stretched. There are a few things you can try, but there is nothing out there that will change the size of the chat windows/gui.

You can try changing the resolution of the game. Sometimes this can revert NWN back to normal. You can set your video card to No Scaling. This has worked for me before on Nvidia cards. You can also set NWN to run on it's own video display, if adjusting the settings helps.

One other thing you can try, is to roll your video drivers back- however at this point you would probably have to roll it so far back that anything new wouldn't work. If you don't know what you are doing, this option has the greatest potential for screwing everything up.

good luck!

Problem is native resolution of my new screen. On my old monitor i used to play at native resolution of 1280x1024 now native resoution is 2560x1440 which makes games menu way to small, on the other hand i can play on 1920x1080, but it makes black look somehow grayish.

Nothing there will help. the UI has a certain pixel size, and if you increase your resolution the menus will become smaller. "scaling" in the GPU setting simply refers to a setup, where you run the game at a lower res than your screen. naturally this will "increase" the size of the UI.

Agreed increasing the resolution is what caused the problem to begin with. decreasing it, and turning off scaling can sometimes help. It depends on your particular system. On one rig I owned it managed to work for me, which is why I posted that.

Turning resolution down to (say) 1280 x 720 is perhaps a happy medium for this game.

It looks horrible on my screen, i'll probably stay on Full HD which looks better than native resolution but still not so pixelated as lower settings.
