Testing CEP on Server
« on: February 25, 2016, 10:30:51 pm »

I recently made a few changes to our server and the haks required to log in.  We only now require CEP 2.4 or later in the primary server, whereas before there were a host of tileset mods.

We recently got a bevvy to logins that lasted only 2 seconds, which I usually associate with a 'missing hak' attempt to log in.  This seemed strange, as CEP is fairly well deployed and 2.4 is probably the most common version out there right now.  Yes, yes, there are many who don't have CEP, but the numbers I've seen recently of what I think to be failed logins seems strangely high.

I was hoping some kind souls who haven't been to our server before would be willing to invest a few minutes to try to log in with CEP and then report back whether or not you were able to log in and with what version of CEP you were using.  Roll-up a PC and get to the starting area.  That's it.  Then report back - especially if you had trouble.

Thanks!

Got right in. I have cep2.6 installed. I don't have all the other haks listed on the website.  Maybe I'll poke around a bit more if I have some time...

Thanks, Megalyn, very much appreciated for your time!  Good to hear you got in - very reassuring.  Let me know if I can show you around.
