Neverwinter Nights and WIndows 8

Is anyone actually playing NWN1 on Windows 8? I have apparently successfully installed the game but it doesn't load up when I click on play.

I am.  I believe you need to set nwmain.exe to "run as administrator".  If you use nwncx_loader.exe instead for being able to see the server list, you'll need to set that to run as administrator as well.  I had issues with it not loading before that, but after setting those, no problems at all.

I run nwn from nwmain.exe which I run as an admin in compatibility mode with xp service pack 3.
