Everything Pstemarie said is very good advice. If you haven't done any of that yet, then it may be your problem.

And, good catch on the offsets Lightfoot8. I hadn't noticed that.
Unfortunately, I don't know of any other way to grab better dumps. I think I may remember DmSelena needing to grab full dumps to resolve a minor 'Blue Screen of DEATH' issue a while back. I'll see if her technique will help here. Although, it sounds like itsmeian17 has quite a few good ideas to try in the meantime.

Pstemarie wrote...
etc... etc... etc... lotsa good tips... etc...

If any of this isn't in Shia's "How-to" sticky (haven't checked myself because never sniffed either Vista or Win7... YET!), perhaps that would be a handy residence.  These seem like basic tenets that would help a wide audience.

Just a thought! '<img'>

Its all in that sticky - just no one seems to want to take the time to read it. A lot of the people having issues claim "....blah...blah...blah....read that thread....blah...blah...nothing worked....blah...blah". You reiterate the same stuff to them that's in that thread and voila it works ''

If you guys can tell me how to get a better dump, I'll be happy to post it up. I did go to school for an A+ cert, but it didn't really click for me the same way, and I decided to change to something else. In my defense, I did go step by step through the sticky, several times.
You are correct about the ATI card, however. I'd not even thought to check for this kind of issue when picking a card to install (probably another reason why I went for something other than computers). My priorities were getting it to fit in the cheap dell case, keep it under the suspected limits of the cheap dell power supply, had to run cool, and had to run Fallout New Vegas.
"Graphics Card Manufacturer Powered by AMD
Graphics Chipset ATI Radeon HD 4600 Series

Vendor 1002
Subsystem ID 2009
Subsystem Vendor ID 1787
Graphics Bus Capability PCI Express
Maximum Bus Setting PCI Express x16
BIOS Version 011.022.007.005
BIOS Part Number 113-SK2G08-B01
BIOS Date 2011/03/23
Memory Size 1024 MB
Memory Type DDR3
Core Clock in MHz 750 MHz
Memory Clock in MHz 800 MHz
Total Memory Bandwidth in GByte/s 25.6 GByte/s" "

You guys did give me some new things to try, I'm burnt out on this tonight, but will get back on it tomorrow. It's either this, or occupying Wall Street while I look for a new job.
Thanks for the help, hope to have good news witht he next post

               Itsmeian17,
I think you should use/make your own thread for this to avoid confusion.

First you are using a windows7 and then you don't have crashing problems but performance problems right?

....so to not confuse the ones trying to help I'd suggest that....as the solution to your problems could be totally different....right?
