Best Vid Card For NWN?

               Jenna, likely your issues with PS are the same ones you have had with NWN.  It needs to be installed correctly for Win7.  Admin account, installed into the (x86) programs section, given full privs etc...  I don't pretend to know how this is done, as I have not downgraded to Win7 from XP yet.  (Yes, I said downgraded.)

Anyway, I do know that there are ways around the install processes of Win7.  If you do Google searches on installing specific programs, you will find solutions to most of them.

The thing people don't realize about UAC is that even if you grant administrator privs to a program, it is - because of UAC - NOT the full access rights that programs once had in earlier versions of windows. This is why some older programs crash on burn on Vista and Windows 7. Once UAC is off any program you set to run as Admin will actually have 100% access, not the 98% it has under the umbrella of UAC.

               Wow, wow, wow! Neverwinter Nights has to be installed in the (x86) folder for 64 systems? Mine is in the regular Program Files, and it doesn't seem to need full permissions, compatibility checks or administrator running... what are the cons of it being installed this way? Maybe I'm overlooking some issue... As for the videocard thingie, I would definitely go with a GTX 590. I'm hoping to get mine this Christmas... maybe...
