I installed this game on the computer after I reinstalled XP. Once I went in to play some multiplayer, I found out that there were some serious problems. Anytime my character, NPCs, and others run around, the game suddenly becomes choppy. This seems to happen when they are mid stride. Reinstalling NWN didn't help at all, so then I looked around for a reason. I realized that I had upgraded the computer CPU to a dual core. Setting CPU affinity in NWN, both in nwnplayer.ini and through the task manager to run on one core did nothing to help, in fact it was already at the correct setting.
I am wondering what I can try to attempt to fix this. It's notable that newer games with higher system requirements work fine. I downloaded the latest video drivers as well.
