You'll have to wait to see what they do to reinstate access, when they get around to that.

I'm in the same boat. I had all my NWN & NWN2 cdkeys stored at nwn.bioware.com. I have lost my manuals, but have always been able to recover my keys from the site when I need them.  Some friends have asked me to set up and update my old persistent NWN world, but when I went to grab my keys tonight, I discovered the site was gone . . .'<img'>

I *might* have mine around somewhere, but the problem is, I was asked to re-create my entire user account, and not just change the password. What for? Am I going to get the CD keys back online now, or do I have to dig them up with a shovel?

Luckily I still have the CD keys in the manuals from all my copies of NWN, NWN2 and expansions, but I'm more concerned about how I will ever be able to get my premium modules back since I don't have them archived.  Luckily I still have the emailed receipts for the purchases so hopefully customer service can help.  But I'm going to wait patiently to see what they do to reinstate access to the forums, etc.  I'm also concerned about my CD keys possibly being compromised and I hope they will give the option to issue new ones for those who stored them online, as I also did.

Same here.... I had ALL my Bioware game keys stored there (I really loved you guys before the EA days) along with some premium content I had bought, and now I am unsure how to get them back

From what I read, CD keys were in fact stolen.  They had better be issuing us all new keys.

I had my CD Keys backed up elsewhere, so I have not lost them per se, but I am concerned that they have been stolen.  When I tried to check in on things and sign on to my old account (which I have not done in a long while), the system claimed that account did not exist and I was able to remake it under the same name and email address.

Now it looks like Bioware is all about Dragon Age and Mass Effect, and NWN is all but ignored on this site.  Is that just because there is a crackdown on NWN material due to the breach, and a ton of stuff is disabled, or is there normally no recognition of NWN on the site?  (For instance, I cannot re-register my backed up CD Keys for NWN.)

No one can log into the old forums so youre not alone. Bioware shut them down while they upgrade their security but no news yet on when theyll be back or what they will do about cd keys.

According to the official statements, no CD keys were touched.  Only user info like username, an encrypted copy of the password, etc. were possibly breached.

They haven't integrated support for pretty much any legacy game into this forum yet, not just NWN.

Thats not in the email that I got:

Our investigation shows that information such as user names, encrypted passwords, email addresses, mailing addresses, names, phone numbers, CD keys and birth dates from these forum accounts on the system may have been compromised, as well as other information (if any) that you may have associated with your EA Account.

               *may* have been compromised.

There was no concrete comment that they actually were at the time the e-mails were sent.

The official post, after the examination of the legacy forums being hacked and taken down, clearly states that no CD KEYs were compromised.

Aaryn Flynn of Bioware wrote...

 Hi everyone:

Obviously when
facing a hacker threat we can’t talk fully about every detail, since as
I’m sure you can appreciate we don’t want to give them any advantage,
but I can certainly clear up a couple of the common questions I’m seeing
here.

(a) Was my credit card/CD key exposed?
As previously
stated, there was no credit card information on the servers in question
whatsoever… so we’re good there.  We also have conclusive evidence of
which specific legacy account fields were potentially exposed:
username, password, email address, date of birth, and country of
origin.  No CD keys, and again no financial info.

We have determined that no credit card data was compromised from the servers, nor did we ever have or store sensitive data like social security numbers. Our investigation shows that information such as user names, encrypted passwords, email addresses, mailing addresses, names, phone numbers, CD keys and birth dates from these forum accounts on the system may have been compromised, as well as other information (if any) that you may have associated with your EA Account.

CD-Keys were acknowledged as being amongst the data that was exposed in the second round of E-mails they sent out.
In essence, they may have player log-in name, password, and cd-keys for any of the people whose accounts were exposed.  While not panic worthy by any means, it is a bit worrisome for some people until a means is set up again for changing passwords.
