Information text on technical basic understanding ?

when I look at the NwVault.ign page “NWN Hakpaks” I see the CEP 2.3 and wonder if it would make sense for  me to install it.
I can’t  check that because the system requirements are not to be found on the page.

Where can I look up a systematic list where I’m able to get the best idea what makes sense for my computer ?

 When I  tried to log into  online worlds  I keep getting  the message 
“could not load the module, missing required custom talk table” 
and “ cep 21_v1.tlk” (Argentum Regio) or  â€œzauberwald3.talk”.

The latter might mean that the world is in German and my game is in English. ?
(I’ve got the english version deluxe edition)

Do you know of a text somewhere that might help me to gain a basic understanding of compatibilities ?

When I click on “Game Patch Notes” under NWN Game Info on the NWVault.ign page I get a
list of NWN 2 patches 1.01 to 1.11.

I would be glad about some recommendations.

If you want to play ArgentumRegio (and MANY other modules and PWs), you have no choice to make. CEP is a requirement.

All custom utilities/haks have the same requirements as the stock game. More important than your hardware/OS is your connection.  The more advanced, custom environments perform best with broadband and other fast connections.

Most of the popular, well-managed PWs have their own websites and forums that will answer all your questions.
ArgentumRegio has one which is listed under its server details in the Gamespy screen.

There may be  a German-related talk table in addition to the standard English one, but I have no personal knowledge of this server.  You should take notice to the word "or" which seems to indicate that it may be a multilingual server with an optional talk table.  The CEP 2.x talk file is all you need which SHOULD get installed when you download the current CEP.  There are explicit instructions associated with the correct installation of the CEP content.

As mentioned before, each server has its own level of documentation and/or website usually cited in the server details page.

(I used the CEP 2.1 before and wondered if upgrading to 2.3 would agree with my computer. - well , I'll certainly find out  -  going outside might mean ogres on the road... )
