               Right I just got the Deluxe Edition today so I could play NWN's with me mates. But when I go to create an account it says it cant connect to the master server. What am I doing wrong?

I am runing Windows Vista Home Prem. I have both Expansion packs to.

               Right I just disabled my firewall and updated the game and it still is doing it. Cant even connect. It says the Server Just refuses my name :s Why is this doing this to me???

               Check your CD key codes to be certain they were typed in correctly when you installed (because of the dichotomy of some characters, it is easy to misread them).  Also, make sure that each key entry (1 thru 3) in the nwncdkey.ini matches the corresponding code on the packaging that came with your game.  We (the general community) are all assuming you are using an unused game and are not trying to use web-generated codes which never work for on-line play.  Beyond that, check with your ISP to find out if the authentication difficulties could be on their end.

edit: one other thing you might check is to disable all security and/or virus software that may be operating on your machine. Windows is famous for creating layers of security "behind-the-scenes".

               Also make sure NWN has access through your router, if you're using one.

               Do you have a problem creating an account or joining servers?

If you can't create an account you won't even make it to the server list. Is that right?

If so, you can try creating an account here: http://accounts.biow...p/?recordSite=1

Use the same loginname, password and email in NWN after clicking "multiplayer" and see how that works.

It still isn't very clear to me what sort of problem you are having right now.



If it is a problem with the CD-key, it should give you an error something like "CD-key unauthorised".

               Its creating an account. Sorry for late response. Al be putting NWN back on soon. System crash and lost everything. Only got back to Dragon Age Origins burning throught it so I can have my save files for number 2 lol.
