I'm looking for the 2da that points to the tlk line the 'Crafting Skills' icon name in your radial menu. For the life of me I can't figure it out? I'm going to change the name of the crafting skills icon.

I'm afraid that is not the case.

 

If I wanted to change Craft Armor, Craft Weapon, or Craft Trap skill name that would be fine.

 

Just to clarify in case you misunderstood my intention. A very real possibility since I've drank three five hour energies. I want to change the icon name for the crafting skills in the radial menu. The icon name for the little anvil in your radial menu.

               As far as I can see, it's not in a 2DA.

Using TlkEdit to search the .tlk file, the phrase "Crafting Skills" was found at line 84543, but using FreeCommander to search the 2DA files for that number produced no results.

The anvil icon ir_craft appears several times in 2DA files, but always with a different tlk reference. It is also referenced in the engine itself, which makes me wonder whether the crafting radial menu is hard-coded, in which case you'd have to over-ride the .tlk file.

A quick look at NWN Omnibus shows that this speculation is not new, but maybe someone else has hard facts?

Thanks for the help. So far I seem unable to do so without overriding the default TLK, which just isn't something I'm prepped to do. I can live with a mislabeled icon. Thank you for all your help.

I came up empty when I wanted to repurpose this icon in the radial menu, so I left it as is and simply changed what I believe is the craft trap conversation.
