Commands in npc henchmans
« on: May 04, 2013, 05:27:22 pm »

                Hello all!!

I have a question about henchmans....

In my module you can add a lot of henchmans... i copied all default scripts from default henchmans in original nwn, and they work fine as companions... but when i try to use the comand panel to say them "Stand your ground" or "attack nearest" etc it doesnt work. I just want to know how can i make that commands to work in those henchmans.':wizard:'

If the henchmen are using the correct scripts, there should not be any difficulty about using such commands. Some things to check:

1) Do you have anything in your override folder that might affect henchmen?
2) How close was your PC to the henchman when giving commands? Henchman will not respond to commands if the PC giving them is too far away.
3) Double check that you are using the right scripts. You might want to post a list of exactly what scripts you have put in each slot to be reviewed here.
4) Do you have any other scripts in your module that assign commands to henchmen, set variables on them, etc.?
