1d0 = ?

               Is 1d0 the same as 1 damage, or is it zero damage?

When you create an item of the Lance base type, it's damage is set to 1d0 piercing 20-20 (x3).

               in testing it I found it to be zero damge.  well almost zero damage.

When I attacked a target and had a 14 strength +2 damage.  I did 2 damage with every hit.

Same for when I had 12 strength +1 damage . every hit did 1 damage.

When I had 10 strength +0 damage however I still did 1 damage per hit.

So I guess I would call it 0 damage, Minimum 1 damage after modifiers.

               If you follow the pattern used for the other weapons listed in baseitems.2da, the lance should have a setting of 8 under the DiceToRoll column. Not sure why its set to 0 - maybe something to do with the way jousting was scripted in WCoC?

               If you roll a zero sided die it will come up null 100% of the time.

Be well. Game on.
