Way Points
« on: September 09, 2010, 02:54:04 am »

A silly question but one I can't remember nor find the answer to.

At one time with the way point tags for creatures using the
walkwaypoints function, there use to be a way to set it so they
creature would face the direction of the tag. I can't seem to find (or
recall) how this was done.

The general way it was used was if guards got into combat with either a
player or an enemy they would go back to their post and face out once
again after the battle was over.

What am I forgetting to add to the tags, because I can't remember for the life of me and it's driving me nuts.

               * Added the ability to make NPCs turn to the facing of

//::                             a waypoint when setting int X2_L_WAYPOINT_SETFACING to 1 on

//::                             the waypoint

Set a variable on the waypoint called X2_L_WAYPOINT_SETFACING and set the value to 1.

The way I found this was by using Google to search the old Bioware boards. This is what I typed in the Google search box:

site:nwn.bioware.com walkwaypoints facing

Hope this helps.

               Thanks you 2.

Was really bugging me and I couldn't remember what had to be done to make it work.

Kept thinking it was the tags name, or by "tag", I must be getting old, keep forgetting stuff like this.
