Almraiven mod problem.
« on: September 25, 2015, 04:52:48 pm »

I have a problem with this mod. I need to talk to a NPC called Flaux, in the Everburning Log inn. I met a shady nameless NPC, which appears to be Flaux, but after he says: "Come with me" or something similar, he will not move and I cannot talk to him again so I'm stuck.

What can I do?

No one has an idea? I really want to continue to play this seemingly very interesting mod.

Post under the project page or message author directly. He is still active.

This issue was resolved, although the player was not able to get an NPC via a conversation to fire a script that uses ActionMoveToLocation.

The player has NWN 1.69+ the critical rebuild+the unofficial 1.71 patch. They also have installed the Tony K's AI+some creature overrides. And Zwerkules' facelift haks.

I had no problem using their save game, and the NPC moved as expected.

A recent issue cropped up in Shadewood, where a player was unable to cast Wail of the Banshee using an item Unqiue Power. They had to reinstall critical rebuild after stating they had the community patch 1.71 installed to get the functionality to work.

"Figured out the problem was the community patch 1.71 just had to use critical rebuild and everything is working."

I honestly can't say what the issues are, but these modules were made in 2007 and 2009, and none of these issues have ever been reported during those years, but if it's the GOG version with no critical rebuild or changes made in the community patch, it's becoming annoyingly frustrating to trouble shoot issues.

FP!
