Hello hello! For like a few weeks I have been building and scripting tons of things for this module and it is by far from finished BUT I just wanted to share this my idea on the module and see what you lot think of it (and of course would be grant to have someone else help me with this since doing it all by myself right now) 


 


okay first things first: I am a very novice scripter, so this will also be a learning process for me. In any case I will try my best to make most of the scripts myself (even though it will probably give me a headache and a major ammount of hair loss) 


 


So here is the module/PW project:


 


Realm: Fearuhn


 


Module style: RP, PW, storydriven, mild PVP in certain area's.


 


Welcome to Alarna city, it is a city of an island called: Albadon Island. (located not too far from the Swordcoast) 

 

Long has it been hidden but after the spellplague in 1385 DR, its magical mist that once shrouded the island for over a thousand and somewhat years vanished and now the island was accessable for outsiders again (non Albadonian's) 

 

Though the island is far from safe, continual conflicts have happened in the recent years since the revealment of the island and a dark cloud seem to hover over the island as undead and foul magical beasts seem to have gained much of the island's territory that the only standing human, and living city has to put in everything its got to protect its people.

 

Part 1 - Stuck at the docks.

As a traveler you would want to see more of the city. But you are stuck at the docks. Do some of the basic quests to gain reputation within the dock's community and unlock the city gate that will gain you entrance to the city.

 

Quests:

1) Beetle run! - Help Daisy with her beetle infestation in her home.

 

2) Where did my wheel go?! - The gnome Giblet has a broken cart. Help him get a new cartwheel.

 

3) Rats in the sewers.... - It is commonly known that there are rats in the sewers, but for some reason a monstrosity has appeared: A wererat is residing in the sewers and is causing for a lot of issues, go deal with it!

 

4) Deliver the message! - You have been asked to deliver a message from Tom the merchant to his beloved Nora who lives in the house with the balcony.

 

5) That what was stolen. - MArcy's favorite book was stolen by a bandit and....he went into the sewers! Go get the book back from him!

 

Additional info:

The quests will all give you prestige points for the faction you are working for. Around 5-10 reputation points per quests and once you have done all the quests in the area you will be able to enter the next area as you have proven to be a true friend of said faction.

 

The docks is just a very small and easy part of the entire module, as you progress through the game/module you will find  that the quests will become harder and harder to find. 

 

Currently I am working to finalize the docks before I make the other area's available for players. However this is what I am planning for the rest of the area's and what you can expect from the module (eventually):

 

-Reputation system: 

Everything your character does and says will be stored and trigger a reaction from the NPC's (Ex. if you ruin your reputation with the guards of Alarna city you will be sure that they will be on the hunt for you..

Equally so you can also lose reputation points by joining a faction that rivals, lets say you joined a group of bandits, which will put you on the wanted list for the guards of said faction.

-Custom character personalization:

At the beginning of the module you can change the appearance of your character before entering the game itself. (NOTE: This can only be done at first level)

- PUZZLE AREA'S:

(WIP)

 

-Custom widgets and special polymorphs (based on class)

(STATUS: WIP)

 

-Roleplay award system:

(STATUS: WIP)

 

-Custom on respawn based on Alignment:

A simple script that will respawn the PC (based on alignment) to either heaven or hell.

(STATUS: DONE)

 

- Custom transport:

There is custom transport available for PC's with a certain reputation, Depending on how dangerous the area is and how high the reputation is with the pc.

(STATUS: WIP)

 

- Playerhousing:

A simple rental key system that will allow the player to own the house till the next reset.

(STATUS: WIP)

 

-Arena:

Pc's can join a gladiator group and then battle other players in of the opposite group in the arena only! (NOTE: NPC's will react on your choice either  be glad or not)

Well, seeing that it all is not entirely finished and all still work in progress I just wanted to share what I am planning all in all and everyone who is willing to help me with this would be more than welcome!

 Now the players can join a guild! They will be able to do quests for that guild to rank up and they can buy items cheaper from fellow guild-member.


 


NOTE, that joining a certain guild will lower your reputation standard with the "rival" guild!
