A question was raised in this topic:
social.bioware.com/forum/1/topic/195/index/8414322/1 regarding if there was ever a sequel planned for Wyvern Crown of Cormyr. In short, yes, but it never happened. Wyvern Crown was originally plotted over 2-3 modules, and the ending of the first part was dependant on the actions you took in that module. As released, the changes were mainly cosmetic (who wore the crown and who was who's boss, without making spoilers), but part 2 picked up right where part 1 left off with the impact your decision had, and how Caladnei and co reacted to it. Part 2-3 essentially had good and evil parallel paths planned (with some cross-over).
Part 2 never saw the light of day. Shortly after the fiasco of off and on again premium modules, I began work with some of the DLA team on a series for Obsidian for NWN2 - the story actually picked up a thread from Wyvern Crown, Kathryn's lycanthropy, and wove it into some of the law of Cormyr so that a finished Wyvern Crown and a finished NWN2 mod (I forget what it was called now) would have sat very nicely side by side. Unfortunately Atari struck again and that mod also died. I still have some of the plotlines for that series and a few dialogues with Marc Price, who I had worked with on the Tales of the Sundering series, and asked to help out.
Following this disappointment, myself and a few of the DLA folks began work on an expansion for the Witcher. This project was also plagued with issues (not sure if these were Atari's or CDProjekt Red's), but after work began, it had to be restarted from scratch because of a clash with another project on the Witcher, and this in turn then collapsed when the project was again cancelled after starting. I also still have the plots of both these mods, as well as a lot of the dialogue.
In parallel I had been forced to turn down a job on the Total War series because of life issues, and decided that fate was against me, basically giving up on game writing. After a brief hiatus I decided to pick up WCoC 2 again, only for both my PCs to crash in parallel and wipe out most of the work (my backup disc also died with only a partial recovery). I went to seek inspiration instead from all the guides and walkthroughs I had in the DLA forums, but as you know, these also were lost and Steel Wind confirmed he didn't have a copy.
The end result of all this: I just began to feel like it was never going to happen - so it never did!
