Problem with Spirit of the Wood Quest - CH. 2

               I just completed the Spirit of the Wood quest in chapter two by curing the spirit of the poison, and it says that I cured it in my journal. For some reason when I go to turn the quest into Archdruid Aawill the only option given to me is to tell him that I killed the spirit, which is not what happened. I really would like to be able to turn the quest in with the correct event happening. Any advice?

               Do you get back to the archdruid by using the portals or by the Spirit itself?

               My recollection is that the spirit sends you back automatically when you finish the conversation that cures him.

The druid script checks that you haven't already been marked as done for the quest and that the spirit is still around, probably to prevent people from curing the spirit and then killing him for the XP.

Unless you can load a save from before the cure, it may be sort of a pain to get the right dialog to show up. There are several variables being tracked.

               Hope you did a quicksave before talking to the Spirit once defeated but still alive (even a save before the fight could save the day).
Once cured the Spirit will talk to you and you should let it say his story till the end.
The dialog with the spirit splits in two, he stops the first time and you may have the chance of looting the altar stones behind the spirit then you have to talk with it again until he sends you back to the wood.
