D-D: I feel sad for you. No computer for two weeks? I couldn't go without the computer for one week! Almost suffered losing the internet once, but that was more due to problems with the internet itself. Because my dad wasn't able to come over for a week to fix it, I snapped and fixed it myself.

I'ts been almost three days by now ...

Don't you think it's about time to post some more Valen goodness?

I can't draw, even though I am trying hard to learn it. Writing goes slowly (I don't write about Valen any more anyway), so don't look at me like this!

Please, pretty please? Believe me, you really don't want me to create any Valen stuff (or anything about any other character, for that matter).

I'll try something. I make no promises on the quality of my writing though - I'm not confident of my Valen writing abilities when he's not grumpy.

Still better than what I could offer (screenshots from some mad fangirlish private Aurora toolset messing, no scripting, nothing serious, just nekkid Valen and/or a "threesome" (not what *you* might be thinking, just Valen and two other guys I'm obsessed with fighting each other ... ) EDIT: or some unfinished notes from my ancient HotU tale) ...

Be quick, please, or else ;-) ...

OFF TOPIC
She hated her elder sisters from the bottom of her heart for no other reason than that they were alive. They stood in her way, she would have to kill them one day if she wanted to have the slightest chance to become Matron Mother or merely survive long enough to give it a try. It was not  uncommon in Menzoberranzan that female drow killed their elder siblings if they saw them as a threat.

Akorryne was a Priestess of Lolth already, Jysylene would be ordained soon and Felynkiira just had started her apprenticeship at Arach-Tinilith. No need for the youngest Kant'tar daughter to become a priestess, too. Long before she would reach the proper age for Arach-Tinilith, she would have taught herself other, more useful skills.

The young drow girl opened the book she had stolen, to continue her secret studies of the Arcane Arts. No one would know what she was doing, not before it was too late.

Nathyrra was not older than fifteen years, sixteen in four months, but in drow society even girls that young had to play wicked games, if they wanted to succeed. If they wanted to survive.

BACK TO TOPIC:

Yeah, back to topic. Anyone, please? Pretty please?

No hackpack collisions so far. Used Valine's ("A Dance with Rogues") to get Valen naked. For now.

Er, remember when I said I was making an Elizabeth henchman mod? Weeell, I'm stuck.

I need some help with endings, I was hoping you guys could help.

I need ideas for if you don't romance Valen and she ends up with him, one for if you romance Valen, one for if you romance HER, and one for if you force her to be your lover via true name.
Yes, D-D is going to attempt to code a romance. May the Gods have mercy on you, for she loves writing ANGST. In case that wasn't clear. '<img'>

If the PC forces Liz into romance, her reaction might be similar to evil Aribeth's (see dialog "h10_narrator" for HotU endings, even though the option to force a companion into romance was disabled in the game, the lines are still there).

If the PC romances Valen, she might be a bit jealous (who would not be jealous?, ;-) ).

There also should be different reactions depending on the PC's behavior: if the PC stays polite and just romances Valen / declines romancing her she might still be available as a henchman. If the PC is very mean she won't talk to him / her any more, might even attack (that's how I plan to handle things in my "serious" module).

I need some help, too ...

First, the funstuff screenshot for you. Any requests on who should join the fight? Valen vs. my OC vs. ??? Any male character from the official games or ADwR would do. Not sure about other modules, though. Depending on the hackpaks used Valen or my OC might look weird. I don't feel like editing a dozen hackpaks just for some fangirl fun.

Then there's the "serious" module. I planned to make two of the main NPC's romanceable, a male retired CG rogue (for females) and a female NG druid (for males), both older, mature people. Should there be romance options for some of the henchmen, too? Tania Velin (LG half-elven fighter, Sue, wannabe paladin) is just annoying, but then, male players seem to love annoying women ... What about Gilliam Strongheart (N human cleric)? Innocent young men are cute ... Then there's Tilderin Stinkfeet (CE halfling barbarian). Petrulla Gnorx (NG half-orc bard) might be available for males and females.I definitely can't write all of this on my own ...

A-C: Try writing it all down and getting their personalities done seperately. Then decide from there whether they'll appeal to anyone or not.

I've got a serious mod too. I've currently got four romancibles, two bisexual, the other two straight.

There's Aarien (CN half-demon Rogue - could possibly gain Shadowdancer levels) and Sel (CG Human Cleric). Aarien's the serious, angsty but shy type, is rather insecure and full of self-loathing, whereas Sel's the cheerful type that doesn't take anything seriously, but does have a serious side for when he's healing.

Then there's Elvalia (NE Dragonblooded Sorceress that can gain Red Dragon Disciple levels) and Kanata (LG Human Paladin). Elvalia seems nice at first, but she's more or less a Yandere in a (very thinly veiled) disguise. Kanata seems a tough and irritable "don't mess with me" paladin, but she really does care for everyone - even Aarien, despite him being what she hates.

Now guess who's bisexual. '<img'>

(Will be posting my story in next post.)

Here's a long-due prompt piece. Sorry for the lateness, but I've had exams. D: Starring my Sorceress/Red Dragon Disciple, Xelara.

Prompt - Voices

"Alright, I think we should set up camp. I'm freezing my wings off here." Xelara said weakly.

As they all prepared camp, Valen had said nothing. He could hear Xelara saying something else to him and Deekin, but he couldn't listen. The voices  - the whispers, the taunts of those devils in Cania - they were tormenting him again, boiling his tan'arri blood. Unlike Deekin and Xelara, he was not exhausted - and even if he was, the presence of the devils made it impossible for him to rest. He couldn't sleep - not while they were around. Not while he was in their territory. He tried to focus on helping his comrades, but the ancient voices of the devils were calling to his blood, making it impossible to ignore.

He suddenly found an icy hand suddenly grasp his shoulder. "Valen?! Valen! Are you alright?" Xelara said, a note of panic in her voice.

Valen said nothing as he turned away from her, ignoring her. She wouldn't understand. He felt terrible for doing this to her - but she would not let him leave even if he really desperately wanted to. And in a way, he did. He was a danger to them.

And yet - despite the little amount of time that they had spent together, he had enjoyed her company. Deekin's... not so much, but his childlike nature and optimism did - despite his protests - cheer him up, if only a little. (Though, of course, he would never show it to the kobold. That would be a cue to start that Doom Song again, and he had very little self-control as it was at this moment.)

But Xelara... she was a dear friend to him. She listened to him, helped him, laughed with him... they were the best of friends, though sometimes... Valen wondered whether there could've been something more. The thought wasn't unpleasant, after all... though the wings would've made things rather awkward. She was rather pretty, and they were most definitely close. But... no. He didn't think anything would happen with them. She didn't seem interested anyway. She didn't really flirt with him or anything... then again, he doubted she was the type.

It didn't matter. Regardless of their friendship, he couldn't just stay. He could hurt them next time a devil attacked them...  he couldn't trust himself, and that was what truly frightened him.

"Valen!" Xelara grabbed his shoulder again, this time pulling the warrior back. "What's wrong with you?!"

What could he say? 'I am a danger to you all'? Xelara wouldn't believe that, even though it was true. But he might as well try.

"Xelara, the longer I stay here, the more likely I will hurt you all."

"You've said this before, and I don't think you will."

"You've said that before as well."

"That's because it's true. I know what this place does to you, Valen, but... I don't think that you're so inhuman that you could kill us. The demon is only a part of you. You are mostly human."

He had heard this argument before, but she didn't truly understand what this place did to him. She could not hear the calling of the blood wars. She may have the blood of a dragon, but it didn't compell her to kill the way his demonic blood did.

"I-"

"And anyway, we'd be worse off without you around. It's hard enough it being only the three of us in Cania, but without you, Deekin and I would be alone, and it would be tougher for us."

He could not think of an argument for that. But still... he sighed and turned back. "I'm sorry, Xel-"

"You don't need to apologise, Valen." Xelara smiled at him for a moment before blushing. "Now, wh-where'd I put my velox berries?" She said, rushing to her pack and scrabbling for the berries.

Valen smiled to himself grimly. He may be dooming them all by staying here but... he knew he would miss their company if he didn't.

*

The sad thing about this? Xelara DOES have feelings for Valen. She's too shy to do anything about it.

OFF TOPIC: I'd love to discuss writing / module creating matters with you, Alex. I might fall in love with Aarien or Sel. Kanata reminds me of Tania a little bit ...

BACK TO TOPIC: As I still haven't learned how to draw using my touch pad, the Aurora toolset must do for now. So who should be the second guy Valen is fighting? (Sorry, but my beloved OC just must be involved.)

Off-Topic: Looking back at my description, I feel that I haven't done Kanata or Elvalia justice. ^^;  For Elvalia, I can't say too much about her as it would be a spoiler. Same for Aarien (especially him, now I think about it...) Those two are more plot-related, though you don't have to take either with you. As for Sel, he has the least involvement with the plot, though there are sidequests where you can't remove him from the party and others where he's pretty useful (when you aren't a cleric yourself) and one point in the endgame that can change the ending. I'll shut up now, as I am about to go and ramble about them.

On-Topic: I am useless at art as well (unless it's Raziel from the Legacy of Kain series), so I never do NWN fanart, not even of my own characters. I use the toolset as well... as for another character, Vico, maybe? Smite Good would work on Valen, after all... Good(ish) vs Evil?
