               I just remembered something.

I had a dream where I woke up (but I didn't really wake up, it was in the dream) and Valen was sleeping next to me. All sorts of possibilities ran through my head as I pulled back the covers... to realise that we were fully clothed. It turned out that we were both too tired and just collapsed on the same bed because we were both too tired to care. :C

I awoke from a fitful, magic-induced sleep to find myself in cold darkness. My eyes slowly adjusted to the low lighting, and I looked at my hands, which were limp by my sides.
Shackled.
With a growing feeling of dread, I looked around to find myself in a cage.
I knew this cage, I had been in here before. With a quick downward glance, I confirmed that still my blood stained the floor. My blood, shed from the countless times I was thrashed.
It was then that I began to panic. It was all over.
She had won. Elifari had captured me once more, and I was to die for escaping.
As if in answer to my silent inquiry of when, the door a good five feet away opened, and unnatural light flooded the dungeon. A horrifyingly beautiful woman entered; a Baatezu.
"Amewypadr, my pet, you've awoken!" Elifari crooned, stalking purposefully over to my. "Wonderful. You deserve a good flogging for running off, girl...but there has been a change of plans. You see, a handsome young tiefling came in...oh, he was absolutely scrumptious! He's bought you off my hands. Had a good load of coin, too. I can't believe the half-breed thinks you're worth that much. Were it not for your blood, I would have settled for less."
"My...blood?" I croaked, confused. Uin Baubmac blood was nothing special.
"You're planetouched, Amewypadr." Elifari murmured. "The unnatural way. Wandering the planes as my head Tracker has changed you. You're carrying the aura of a tiefling, pet."
My eyes widened with realization. That explained why I still smelled of devils, had felt the urge to attack Valen whilst in Cania, the drums that haunted my sleep....
But...tiefling. What tiefling would be willing to pay for my freedom? Valen, my thoughts answered. He was saving me, Byhdran be praised!
But then my 'saviour' entered and all hope died.
"Amewypadr." Helumyc growled, the light making his bull-like black horns shine. "It's been far too long, Sister."

               I've dreamed many Valen dreams. Once I dreamed he was my drama teacher. It basically went like this:

Valen: Hi, I'm your new drama teacher.
Me: OMG HE'S HOT YAY!
Valen: ... *awkward silence*
Old Drama Teacher: *awkward silence*
Entire class: *staring at me as if I was weird or something*
Me: *Thinking "oh god what have I DOOOONE"*

               That reminds me of a dream I had where Valen was the new PE Teacher at my school, and I accidentally-on-purpose hurt my knee just so he'd carry me to the nurse's office. But he was like a drill sergeant...and I remember all the boys hated him and all the girls were swooning over him. I wonder why no one was put off by the horns and the tail...

               D-D: That sounds exactly what I think Valen would be like as a PE teacher. Which is why I never want him as mine. Ever. I suck at PE so much, he'd probably hate me. :C I could always try to impress him with my flexibility, though (the only thing I'm good at)... *grin*

[Elizabeth] - Elizabeth sighs and pinches the bridge of her nose. "Bard-boy, you don't say your name. Not 'Deekin.' 'I.'"
[Deekin] - "Oh. So...I am happy?"
[Elizabeth] - "Yes! Exactly!"
[Deekin] - The kobold is silent for a moment. "Deekin prefers way he speak now."
[Elizabeth] - The girl groans and buries her face in her hands. "I hate you."
[Deekin] - "No yous don't. You says Deekin be cute kobold."
[Elizabeth] - "I was drunk. Don't read to far into it, Bard-boy."
[Deekin] - "You be drunk lots, pretty ranger lady."
[Elizabeth] - "I..." she stares at the kobold for a moment. "You sound like Valen. I happen to like being drunk."
[Deekin] - "Why? Yous trying to forget something?"
[Elizabeth] - She gives the kobold a fierce glare. "This conversation is over, kobold."

Oh Deekin. Your unassuming blunt-ness makes Elizabeth want to strangle you some times.

[Elizabeth] - The ranger groans and rubs her temples as she walks, as though she has a headache.
[Deekin] - "Liz, you wants to sing Doom Song with Deekin again?

[Deekin] - "Oh? Deekin has potion that makes headaches go away."
[Elizabeth] - "Can it make you go away?" she snaps. Then she sighs, "Sorry, Deeks. I didn't mean to sound like a b*tch."
[Deekin] - "That be okay, pretty ranger lady. You wants potion?"
[Elizabeth] - "Sure, why the hells not."
[Deekin] - Deekin nods and pulls a bottle filled with light blue liquid out of his pack, then hands it to the girl.
[Elizabeth] - She takes it eagerly and drinks it all in one swing. She shudders at the taste, but a moment later, blinks happily. "Hey, I feel...great!" she turns to Deekin enthusiastically. "How about a few verses of the Doom Song, eh?"

1.1 [Elizabeth] - She turns to you with a grin. "Ah, spoilsport. You know you love it." [END DIALOGUE]
1.2 [Deekin] - "That be great!" the two then begin to sing, Deekin in his low, rough growl and Elizabeth in a soft, yet off-key murmur. After a few minutes you begin to wish you'd stopped them before they got started. [END DIALOGUE]

Anyways, I cracked up. I always thought Valen would be a very gorgeous woman... hehehehe.

Also, my PC Belle stayed with Valen for the rest of their lives, occasionally breaking up to go adventure, or because of arguments that go too far... heh.

As for my new PC Xelara, I'm not sure. I've not decided whether Valen even acknowledges her feelings for him. Only the Romance Variable will tell. However, I've yet to finish SoU with Xelara yet.

               Ohhh, how Anane's relationship with Valen grew... 8D

Ok, so here's the story.
'Nane (elf, sorcress/Arcane Archer) is a very tolerant person, having traveled with kobold BARD and all, so she had no problems with an idea of befriending a tiefling. She was curious about him (sorceress nerds FTW), but then he started to ****** her off with his distrusting demeanor and she just gave up. Then she was too cought up with last preparations to the Final Battle ™ to notice him warming up to her, then death happened and Cania, so Valen's confession was a surprise for Anane. She wasn't sure what she felt, really, but desperately needed love in the God's forsaken place that was Cania and she accepted him. Again, then were too busy trying to get out from hell to concentrate on each other (and I still hadn't had flirt and romance mods, then T.T)
After slaying Meph, they stayed together, traveling mostly. They finally had time to get to know each other properly, build a steady relationship, healthy love and all. They parted only few times, visited Sigil, stayed in Hilltop(sp?) for a longer while to raise kid they had (because they HAD a KID! 8D Boy called Feylan, tiefling and very alike to his father) and then they returned to traveling again.

I wanted to write a fanfic about their post-HotU life, but my muse likes angst and drama right now and absolutely hates quite peaceful novels that their tale would become. TT^TT

My main female PC is Silmarwën Whitewing, a chaotic good aasimar sorceress/bard. In the story I wrote for her, Die Weißen Lichter in den Schatten (The White Lights in the Shadows), hHer mother was a Moon Elf bard, and her father was an Angel of Protection. From her mother she inherited a beautiful singing voice and a gentle kindness, and from her father a fierce loyalty and the need to protect and uphold all things good, and she gets odd visions, the origins of which are unknown. In Undermountain she gets a vision of Valen protecting her and Deekin from a dracolich, the entire rest of the way she keeps hearing his name and whenever she closes her eyes she sees his face. She knows there is something important about him, but she doesn't know what. When they are teleported to the temple in Lith My'arthar, she takes badly to the magic used and gets weak. Just before passing out, she sees Valen and murmurs his name, freaking out just about everyone in the room.
Valen is even more distrustful of Sil because of her so-called vision, but unfortunately for him, Sil is very hard to dislike with her ridiculously bubbly, caring and lilting personality and how she helps everyone she can. He finds himself warming up to the aasimar rather quickly, and eventually, of course, Sil's vision comes true.
On the eve of the final battle against the Valsharess, she demands that Valen not die. He does anyways. Sil goes nuts with anger because she just came to terms with her feelings for him, and she literally, literally, tears the Valsharess apart. Then she realized what she did and the pure Celestial part of her was appalled. She wasn't even upset when she died, until she realized she would be a better hero if she was...y'know...alive. So she brought back Deekin and Valen and they struck out into Cania, which progress normally. BUT A TWIST! Sil was suppose to be the Sleeping Man's One True Love! D:> WUT?! Valen got really possesive over her, and Sil politely explained to the Sleeping Man that she couldn't be with him because her heart belonged to Valen, and damn what the Gods declared, she was staying with her tiefling. She freed Valen from his demonic taint, gave Deekin a nice self esteem boost and made Mephi a chambermaid at the Yawning Portal.

Sil and Valen then went into the Underdark to find out the origins of odd, corrupted humanoids that were suddenly appearing, came out the Deep Roads and everything turned into a DA/NWN crossover...
