You could submit it to the Fan Fiction section of the Neverwinter Vault (to reach this from the main Vault Page, check the "Features" button on the left-hand side of the site), though I do not know how much traffic that would be getting these days.

               Arh...hi, haven't visit here for a while. But I was recently replaying ME 2 and out of my shocking surprise, there was Valen talking among those Quarians...VALEN on the QUARIAN SHIP! I went into fits. ...

               Quick question. I'm about to play HotU for the first time and I want to know if I'll need to invest any points in charisma to romance Valen? If memory serves (and I'm sure it doesn't) players needed a bit of charisma to successfully romance someone in the NwN OC, so if you had zero people skills (like my socially retarded ranger) you were SOL. Is it the same for this game or this character?

               If my memory serves (and I hope it does since I'm trying to answer your question!), your charisma score doesn't affect your ability to have a romance. It does, however, effect what he says to you. (He won't say you're pretty or anything.)
Also, yay for new HotU players! This is by far the best of the OCs (IMO). Just a heads up: the story makes the most sense if you use the character that played SoU, since the characters treat you as the Hero of Undrentide, not the Hero of Neverwinter.

               Not to worry! I'm starting out in SotU, that's why I wanted to ask before committing to a character.  It would be terrible to lose hours of gameplay only to learn I was too ugly/uncouth or invested points that I could have used elsewhere.

I'm planning on playing as a ranger or druid/shifter, so charisma isn't exactly a priority otherwise...

               I recently played through as an evil sorceress and it's pretty weird how during one conversation you tell him you would gladly betray the Seer if not for the geas, then the next conversation he's all bashful and swoons all over you.

I'm guessing he isn't romancable as an evil character, since I couldn't summon him later after I had given him the Finger of Death when the actual betrayal came. A pity, really, although I must confess I was much more dismayed when it turned out the Valsharess and Gru'ul weren't available either. Even Grimgnaw refused to bow to me. '<img'>

The ultimate insult was the Knower of Names revealing my character didn't have a true love. Evil characters never catch a break.

Thanks to these forums, I sent Valen to space for a very silly adventure. I know next to nothing about Mass Effect, so I replaced it with Star Wars (though someone should really write an ME one!). I hope you guys enjoy, since it was inspired by you! 'Posted
